It would make the top 5 of this list for me. I think a bunch of people (not saying you did, but in general) watched a few eps then ditched when they discovered it’s a pretty different show from BB.

Personally it just about shades BB for me. Mainly because it doesn’t have the awkward family gooseberry fool. And it has Kim Wexler :wub:

The Wire deserves to win though

I watched all of breaking bad and did enjoy it, but to be honest I didn't think it was that special at all. So maybe its just the formula that dissapoints me.

I've never watched Hannibal because I heard it was basically just an over the top horrific gorefest. I assume from this thread that it's actually brilliant?

It is. Certainly gorey as hell, the chemistry between Hannibal and Will is the best thing in the show. Some really WTF moments.

It was cancelled too soon. And Mads is the best Hannibal.

Breaking Bad.

I was put off by the gore in Hannibal originally, but it's *so* much more than that. It was a fantastic show. Lost it's way a little in the third series, but the second was absolute god-tier TV. That finale :datass:
