Is Better Call Saul really that good?

Yes, Better Call Saul is incredible television. That they had the guts to try and spin something off from Breaking Bad is one thing, but the fact that what they have produced rivals and possibly even betters it is an insane achievement.

BB and BCS are both very different shows, but one thing they do have in common is that they represent some of the absolute best work in TV.

When BCS started it felt a bit unsure of itself but once it found its stride it became incredible.

Tough one now but I’ll finally join Cora’s Crew and vote out Breaking Bad

Bit tough to compare BB and BCS given one is ongoing but the first three series of BCS are better than the first three series of BB imo, and series 4 about the same. BB series 5 is ofc god tier

It’s a tough choice but the final season of the Wire did dip in quality.

The Wire. Season 5 is a weak link and the rest of it isn't quite as good as people make out either.

This. A season of television containing an episode like Ozymandias could have featured 20 other episodes of pure gooseberry fool and it would still be top tier programming.
