Oh, is that it?

"They Keep asking about the next elder Scrolls.. just out some writing on a panning shot of new Zealand, that'll keep them going until we get it made"

Ok, I'm up in two hours.

I'm a strawberry floating idiot.

I get that ES6 and Starfield are probably at least a year/two away but I'd hoped for more from Starfield at least. ESVI, fair enough it's just a tease at this point.

It's next gen, they may be under contract with Sony & MS not to reveal more until the next gen consoles are unveiled.

 That’s the biggest anti-climax I may have seen at any conference.

New DOOM: short teaser
Starfield: Two second clip
Elder Scrolls 6: Literally just the name.

Well I'm still excited for a new Elder Scrolls game, it is a bit gooseberry fool that we're going to have to wait so long for it though.

A 5/10 for that. A tiny teaser for DOOM, F4 multiplayer mode and the name of 2 games.

From the sound of it staying up would have been a slight mistake, already excited for Starfield and Skyrim 2 The Elder Scrolls VI though. Not seen the Doom teaser/trailer yet.

Doom looks good for now, not really much to take from the teaser though. I've also just watched the Skyrim Very Special Edition trailer, it was fantastic :D

I feel for you lot that did, but I'm super glad I didn't stay up for that.

Just watched the conference.

Rage 2 looked to be neat and I could detect the Mad Max influences. Really pleased to see Prey getting new modes and expansions. Keen to see more of a Doom Eternal. Fallout 76... I'm unsure about. It looked cool, I love Fallout but I'm apprehensive about the multiplayer aspect.

It was a funny old show, really. Lots of big games but little gameplay. I guess it's good to gain official confirmation of Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI but, by just showing the names, they appear to be next-gen and a couple of years away from release.

Overall, for me it was a 6/10.

Unreasonably disappointed that the rumours of Fallout 3 Anniversary: Switch and / or Fallout 4: Switch turned out to be false. A port of Shelter, the "free-to-start" mobile game, definitely doesn't make up for that.

I mean I don’t know if it’s because you stayed up late but that conference was brilliant.

I'd have almost certainly picked up a Switch release of either F3 or F4 but Shelter did nothing for me on mobile so I've no interest in picking it up again on Switch. Very little else got me interested, I'll almost certainly be interested in ES VI and Starfield but a bombastic score with a flyover isn't a teaser trailer.

Just caught up with it this morning, thought it was quality despite being too long. I can see why those who stayed up are pissed off but you shouldn’t blame Bethesda for your foolish life choices, what did you think they were going to announce?

Rage2 looked really good, very Doom like, I can see myself nabbing that despite having no history with the franchise. Nice to hear Doom 2 is coming, but no footage was a bit crap and makes you question why bother announcing it. The Prey stuff was really cool, might jump in again to new game+, the trailer for the Moon thing was great and the idea of walking around on that station in VR is very appealing. Surprised Prey is still being supported given the lukewarm reception, but it’s a great game so hopefully it will get more eyes on it. More Wolfenstein is great, but again, would have been better to see actual footage. I thought the comedy was pitched well throughout, making it a very watchable conference. I’ve no interest in Fallout so skipped through most of that and will refer to fans of the series for how good a showing it was. The Starfield and Elder Scrolls announcements were pretty much bullshit. Why do that for stuff that’s over 2 years away.

Shame about the lack of new games coming soon but overall a really solid conference and a huge improvement on the weirdness of last year.

7/10

Nah. I was interested in 2 games, one of which was essentially not shown (DOOM) and the other turned out to be the Fallout 4 version of GTA Online. The Starfield and Scrolls 6 announcements were there for the headlines and told us absolutely nothing. I've actually downgraded my opinion of it to 4/10.

I'm just really salty about them ruining Fallout. :(
