More information for games we know about and teasers for ones we didn't. It was an E3 conference then.

Blethesda really need to put Fallout to bed for a long time after 76 is out.

With Starfield and TES6 coming along and ongoing support for the online aspects of 76 I suspect they'll be doing just that. They simply won't have the resources to make another full blown Fallout game.

Honestly, I'm more likely to play fallout 76 with friends than I am any other fallout, got bored in New Vegas, and 4. I just can't finish the games, I only beat 3 as I did very very little side quests. Now I don't want a load of random strawberry floats in my game tbh, but if I can play with, for example, Matt and Jazzem, then I'm happy.

fallout looks pretty good, not being able to play it offline is a bit annoying but it looks good.

Most of that was very "meh" for me, at least in terms of what we actually got to see. It's great to know that there is another Elder Scrolls coming, and that DOOM is getting a follow up - but any sane person knows that this will be happening so unless you are going to actually show us anything then it's all a bit pointless!

Really excited to get stuck in to the Prey DLC though - I never to finish off my most recent play through first though! :toot:

Just finished watching a recording of this without seeing any spoilers, thank you Monkey Man. :)

Let's be honest Bethesda's conference will probably have 'won' E3. Some solid reveals and DLC. Fallout 76, The Elder Scrolls: Blades - which I think will be a much bigger deal then it seems now. Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI reveals. Todd Howard is the consummate host, perfectly teasing near the end. After Starfield reveal and he was hinting at something more, the loud American crowd finally went quiet, no whoops, they didn't dare to believe, I didn't dare to believe... but it all came true! I was laughing! Great stuff. Lovely. This is what we ask for.

Rage2 looked really good, very Doom like, I can see myself nabbing that despite having no history with the franchise. Nice to hear Doom 2 is coming, but no footage was a bit crap and makes you question why bother announcing it. The Prey stuff was really cool, might jump in again to new game+, the trailer for the Moon thing was great and the idea of walking around on that station in VR is very appealing. Surprised Prey is still being supported given the lukewarm reception, but it’s a great game so hopefully it will get more eyes on it. More Wolfenstein is great, but again, would have been better to see actual footage. I thought the comedy was pitched well throughout, making it a very watchable conference. I’ve no interest in Fallout so skipped through most of that and will refer to fans of the series for how good a showing it was. The Starfield and Elder Scrolls announcements were pretty much bullshit. Why do that for stuff that’s over 2 years away.

Shame about the lack of new games coming soon but overall a really solid conference and a huge improvement on the weirdness of last year.

7/10

You don’t have the post count to pull this off.

I don't think I'd bother. Cheers Taf.

Yeah. It wasn't even the best conference from yesterday.

Yep, I expect pretty much everyone to be working on Elder Scrolls 6 once Starfield is done as the game is just so important for them. I'd say outside of the main Nintendo franchises it's pretty much the most nailed on seller in the business and it would be a disaster for even a company as large as Bethesda to strawberry float it up so they will chuck everything they have at it.

Different strokes for different folks! I enjoyed watching the Xbox conference. Entertaining, nice games showed. Forza Horizon 4 has the potential to do what Drive Club aspired to do. But on reflection there were not enough exclusives games that said 'buy an Xbox.' Also not enough talk about the XBO X. For me, Bethesda's was snappy and fun. TES: Blades will be playable VR - that's a win for me. And they teased of Starfield and TES: VI. Yes the series is one of my absolute favourites - so that nailed it for me!

Yeah, big online games I'm okay with, as long as I can have a "private" game, so to speak, to filter out all the knobs. Has Fallout 76 actually got an "end", though? I'm less interested in playing something if it's just "try and stay alive lol". Everything I've read just refers to it as a survival game...

But Bethesda didn't have Cyberpunk and it#s all Taf cared about ;)
