I couldn't see a 2017 conference thread for Bethesda, probably because it's so damn late, so this is it. Bit of a last minute bodge job I'm afraid, because I'm tired. Anyway, go on, discuss.

The poster is misleading - the time was pushed back.

I'll be giving some pre conference commentary as well as streaming it in full on the grcade twitch channel as well.

Not a super great event, if I'm honest - it was a bit short (less than an hour) and there were no real surprises, but I did love the Bethesdaland theme. Of all the games they showed, I was easily the most interested in Wolfenstein II: TNC. It looks crazier and more strawberry floated up than its predecessor, and I loved the mostly live action portion of the trailer at the start. I really need to start watching The Man In The High Castle.

For the VR games, why can they not show the character's arms? The floating PipBoy and guns look super jarring. Then again though, I've never played VR, so maybe it's something you only come to appreciate by playing with it.

It was a solid, if unsurprising show. I like the games Bethesda put out in general so I'm always happy to see what they have coming.

Wolfenstein II was the highlight for me as well and it looks suitably insane. Glad to see everything they showed is out this year too.

As for the VR thing, I guess it stops you from seeing the characters arms in really weird positions, because they can't track what your elbows and upper arm are doing. Probably stops that kind of weird disconnect. Thought the Doom one looked a little clunky. Though I liked that it looked like you could telefrag enemies by moving into them.

Anyway I'm off to bed now. Post-mortem should be short but sweet. I'll have it out early tuesday morning with any luck.

No Evil Within 2 then, I take it? :(

I watched the first half an hour and then fell asleep. :fp:

I can't watch the videos at the moment.
Fallout 4 VR, was there any mention of PSVR? Or just PC?

Not sure on this either, was shown running on Vive and no mention of PSVR. But I don't think it was said to be exclusive. Maybe something at Sony's conference?

Skyrim confirmed for Switch is my favourite thing here. I'd love to play Fallout 4 VR too - if I had a VR headset!

Also I need to play Dishonored 2 still
