It would appear that the - seemingly few - players who have gained access to the "secret room" have done so by actions that would not be a part of normal gameplay; and they will be banned for undertaking such actions. To me, this feels to be a reasonable approach by Bethesda - especially as gamers often indicate that people cheating in online games should face action.

I guess you could take that view. But, only a short time back, folk were moaning 'cos Bethesda supposedly weren't taking action against cheaters. It seems, in my view, that Bethesda are giving people the opportunity to say how they accessed the "test room".... it is, of course, likely that it was done by cheating but it feels like folk are being offered the chance to say how they did it through normal gameplay.

In the end, some folk are cheating and so they will be banned.

If you don’t want to see people posting what was wrong don’t come in the thread, if you want to control what people talk about make your own thread.

If you want to be grown up and accept that some people think Bethesda are being crap and want to talk about it then continue posting, it’s great you are enjoying the game and power to you, however you can’t deny Bethesda have gooseberry fool the bed and it is only right people want to discuss that.

I feel that the people posting are often not actually interested in the game; it's just a thread to muck about in. Which is absolutely fine, of course. But don't expect folk who have a different opinion to stop posting about that, either.

This misconception keeps on cropping up and I'm not going to keep responding to this point. I have stated my take on the issues where I feel the game is at fault and / or Bethesada is at fault. I'm not - and haven't - tried to portray either as paragons of AAA gaming.

But, equally, I will respond when some folk see a headline and re-post it here... if I feel that there are other sides to the story.

It's amazing how Errkal repeatedly challenges my posts in this thread when stuff like this is passed without mention. It's not even about the game; just a ranting post from someone not interested in the topic. I'm not saying it's "invalid"; I just wonder why bother posting?
