That's specifically referencing Fallout 3 though, which means it's probably Fallout 4 for Switch... maybe.

Would a port of Fallout 4 really be worth the stream though? It'd be pretty big news for Switch players but I don't think it would warrant such a long stream to tease fans with. Or are Bethesda like that anyway?

I'm not sure I'd like a Fallout MMO.
That would probably be an announcement by Zenimax rather than Bethesda Game Studios themselves wouldn't it?

It might be a New Vegas style spin off where another studio has done most of the work, or possibly a non game related project like a TV series or film. Though I'd certainly be worried about a film, there's just too much to cover in a 2 hour film.

The last time they did something like this (well, it was a website with a countdown), Fallout 4 was revealed the following day. I don't know if a mere port of F4 would be worth the effort, though.

I'll be strawberry floating annoyed if it's FO3 Remaster.

I'm fed up of games either being remasters of games from a decade ago, or multiplayer pay-to-win battle royales.

Has everyone really run out of new ideas?

Nothing I like more in my post apocalyptic barren world than 15 people with green names above their heads jumping everywhere and hitting things with DLC weapons and clothing

I don't know about you, Jawa, but the idea of trying to get a mission from somebody while 60 other sole survivors swarm him just doesn't appeal.

Fallout is about isolation, surviving on your own or with a buddy in a hostile post-apocalyptic world. It ain't about crowds of vault dwellers crammed up your ass whenever you're, well, anywhere of significance.

Dang it, this is frustrating. Nothing bar a couple of random things are appearing on the stream and we have no idea how long we have to wait. And I don't want to be disappointed by the outcome. And I'm still looking at the stream and reading "speculation" pretty regularly :fp:

Biggest disappointment personally is that this pretty much confirms that Bethesda seem to have zero interest in giving us any single player Elder Scrolls content anytime soon.

I'm really not interested in any of the post-Interplay Fallout content that has been released (3 and 4 were bad Fallout games IMO and New Vegas was just okay) so I'd much rather they put some effort into making a decent new entry to follow up on Skyrim.

Fallout 3 was one of my favourite gaming experiences ever, but it's hard to disagree with you.

New Vegas on the other hand was a genuinely great Fallout game.
