I didn't like the latest episode so much, and not sure why. It maybe felt a little.. obvious? Like Mike fixing the windowsill and warming to the housekeeper, it just felt like retreading character traits already well established. I'm all for the slow burn but somehow this season has felt the least deserved so far - which is weird because when I think about it a lot has actually happened

Can see where you are coming from on this but I really like the stuff with Mike so far this season. It's felt a bit to "easy" how he slipped from fallen cop who broke his son and caused such heartbreak for his remaining family neatly into the number 1 fixer for Fring, this season has added some well needed foundation work for where Mike found himself and how he became so bought in and integral to things as we see him in BB.

I could watch 20 seasons of Saul coming up with ways to strawberry float with the construction workers, while the cop just says "I'm gonna have to make a phone call"

Do we all thing the thing Kim spots is that the horse logo is a direct copy of a film still or something, and will get them on copyright? Seems that way anyway.

Also, Trevor

Seems like it must be more than just copyright, that doesn't seem very Saul Goodman. I think Saul will be right that nobody is that clean, there must be dirt there. Somebody being that clean must mean something horrible.

Enjoyed last nights episode, wasn't the greatest ever or anything but even a "weak" episode of BCS is better than most TV. Rhea Seehorn still absolutely destroying it as Kim, deserves some serious recognition for her work.

I know they don’t give out Oscars for TV work, but they should make an exception for her.

Saul’s great. His heart is sometimes in the right place (he was kind to the hookers) but he just can’t resist being a banana split to Howard and can’t resist “winning” even if it’s against Kim.

The guy who plays Howard is absolutely perfect in his manerisms. I've met so many senior managers who behave in the same way.

My wife doesn’t watch BCS but Howard really reminds me of one of the partners at her work. I showed her a picture and just by looking at him she confirmed “yeah, that’s Julian!”. And that’s without the similar mannerisms.

Julian is far far far more of a prick than Howard though.

Yeah Patrick Fabian is absolutely perfect as Howard.

Saul/Jimmy is much more of a dick these days, much harder to justify his actions although you can absolutely still see the through line of his own thinking in terms of how from his perspective he's doing the right thing.

This is so much better than Breaking Bad it's unreal.

The Chuck revelation was a legit punch to the gut :(

I'm up to series 3 now and the show has had its first misstep: this argument between Chuck and Jimmy should have concluded with series 2. I am not looking forward to whatever Chuck has planned for this tape. Just finding it tedious. I feel sorry for Howard and Kim being caught in the middle of their bickering.

Chuck was right that Jimmy is a banana split and always would be, peeps just can't handle his truth bombs.
