I'm guessing he's going to return and help Kim out of whatever situation she's in because of him as Walt did for Jesse.

Have any of the Gene B&W scenes given us a date yet? It would be interesting to know how long after the events of BB we are seeing.

Given that the vacuum repair guy managed to keep Walt hidden for quite a while I would be surprised if his skills resulted in Saul being caught up with too quickly. Perhaps Gene does something that attracts the attention of those looking for Saul?

Ozymandias remains the greatest episode of anything ever created IMO. I've rewatched BB twice and it still holds up as something truly exceptional, to the point where I'm not convinced I'll ever watch anything better.

Apparently that was the teaser for the series. I'd have been strawberry floating pissed off if I'd seen it as it spoils enough that you can work out that a certain someone gets off-d.

We watched the finale last night, so strawberry floating good. Breathtaking tv, dat last run of episodes :datass:

I may have to start up another BB thread to avoid clogging up this one.

Finally got around to watching this latest series and my god, it was spectacular. Possibly one of the greatest series of television ever produced.

I have mixed feelings about that. There are not many movie spin offs that add or improve on the TV shows. And if Bryan Cranston is in it, that'll mess up the BB ending. Unless it's a prequel, in which case I am not sure I want to watch Walter White working as a chemistry teacher while living a perfectly ordinary life.

If it's a prequel they'll have to have Jesse addicted to steroids or something to explain why his face is so massive.

Before BCS I'd have said this sounds like a gooseberry fool idea (I thought BCS would be awful and Saul was one of my favourite characters). But I remain cautiously optimistic (for wunce).

BCS was a lot better than I ever hoped it would be. It's right up there with BB.

A BB prequel/sequel movie could be good but I just can't see it working with Cranston. They either have to undo the end of BB or set it in a time when Walter White is a boring teacher.

Any post BB featuring Walt will.surely be in BCS. We don't even know he died right at the end of BB, he could have been alive for a short while in hospital after being captured. Hopefully they don't do anything like that.

Or.maybe they'll show him somehow surviving his life threatening injuries and cancer by being washed up in a river and taken away by the magic helicopter people, then we get a flashforward to Holly buying dipping sticks and taking on the DEA.

I don't see how it could work, or why it would be needed when we already have BCS filling in the gaps. However, if Vince Gilligan is writing it then I'm sure he's got a neat idea.

I guess a BB movie could follow what happened to Jesse. Cranston could appear in some flashbacks, but the main part of the story could be Jesse on the run. It could even tie into the flashforwards we are seeing in BCS.

I think that’d work better as a TV series (or as part of BCS itself) though.

If this is an extension to the story, leave it be.

The ending works because it's open for Jesse. Don't strawberry float with that.

Has there ever been one except Firefly --> Serenity?

I'm not sure I want this

BB and BCS are both slow burners and better for it. A film would be at a completely different pace.

Maybe the movie will be Badger’s Star Trek?

I have hope that this will be good purely because our man VG has never let us down yet. Each successive season of BB delivered, and then BCS actually worked despite what a lot of people including myself expected.

I agree no Walt. Maybe Jesse and Saul though
