With the benefit of hindsight, this is hilarious! I bet you wish you'd spent £500 on them back then. I bloody know I do!

Hindsight is always 20/20 but nothing has convinced me that they're still a viable long term investment. They've certainly stuck around longer than your average dutch tulip, but it's not like they're less volatile these days.

If the market cap goes to 10 trillion and beyond as is being predicted, the volatility will be drastically reduced. I can see it happening, it blasted past 1 trillion and is now near 2 trillion this year alone.

EVERYTHING plummeted this morning though. Hope it recovers.

I haven't signed up for the Exchange website yet, so I think I can still put a code in when I register if you wanna shoot one over.

I've learnt my lesson selling assets early so I'm going to let it run. Making enough profits from other stuff so I can afford to just leave it. £150 has become £500 in 2 days :slol: My current goal is to get into promising low caps and built a more diverse portfolio.

How about yourself?

My initial £150-180 I can't remember exactly is sitting at about £1800 just now. I'm sticking in for the long run. Once it hits £100k I'll get twitchy :shifty:

Remember of course you're going to have to declare any capital gains in a tax return.

Yeah if you cash out at a profit you'll need to declare it on a tax return. If you sell at a loss or don't sell at all, you don't need to declare.

Only if it's above your annual CGT allowance of £12k though, isn't it?

Just double-checked this and in most cases you're right. There's a fringe case where you have to declare it even if you know you won't pay tax on it but it's extremely niche.

I blinked. Cashed out half of my Doge when it dropped to £0.255. Still a slight profit, so I'm not too fussed, but it jumped back up almost immediately. :fp:

Is anyone familiar with buying more obscure coins? I'm on Probit but can't figure out how to buy.

Is SafeMoon on Coinbase?

Check out my YouTube channel!

It appears not. I bought some VET and Wink off Binance but can't find out how to transfer out.

I signed up to Probit and the interface is very "Jordan Belfort" - I don't know how to make a purchase.

SafeMoon is the next big pumper and I'd like to get in if anyone can help.

Does anyone know an exchange that has a simple interface and holds the "penny stocks"? I think the main exchanges don't hold these because there's too much money to be made for us, at their expense.
