I got some more BTC not sure if this a market correction or if other factors are impacting prices.

The Coinbase new of possible insider trading isn't probably helping but not sure how much of an impact it has had.

This weekend I'm going to have a proper sit down and look at some of the less unknown coins.

Signed up to Binance yesterday so waiting for my account to be verified.

I have to admit I was pretty disheartened this morning. Throughout the past month I've kept everything except BCH which I luckily got rid of. Oh well. Can't wait to see what 2018 has in store.

Bitcoin dropped 2k. Although they're still pretty valuable.

He actually sold them all a little while ago as people were accusing him of buying coins before making big announcement and then selling them for profit.

He did this to avoid conflict of interest but people feel he now has no real financial incentive.

No currency can become legitimate when it shifts like a roller coaster.

What made you buy into Xtrabytes? I like the fact they're taking the community approach rather than an ICO, but on their roadmap they're a long way off the services that seem to have any utility at all.

I'm really not sure, but they were about 10p each and I bought about 2-300 of them. Just a pure speculative gamble - an increase to £5-10 would mean a big profit. If they crumble then I've lost £30.

I know hindsight is a great thing but I think with the number of previous 'crashes' we've had this past year or more, it was always going to bounce back. But as they say - time in the market is better than timing the market. But it helps if you buy in a dip, of course. Just don't bottle it when it 'crashes'.

Good points you mentioned there
I need to when until another drop and buy in them hold. Also in the short term keep buying and selling

I think a good strategy is to put money into crypto when you'd otherwise put money into savings. So, each month you put £x into it. BUT, choose the dips/mini crashes to invest it. Now is a very good time to start.

Btw, have you set up a Coinbase/gdax account yet? You want to be setting these up now, so that you have an active account when the next dip happens.
