To be honest I just fancied putting it into SHIBE instead while it was low, and I wasn't in for much on Cardano anyway. I still came away with a fiver more than I put in, so I'm not too bothered, but I do feel a bit daft for pulling the trigger so early now.

I bought £120 of ETH when it was at £2000, then another £100 when it was at £2600, then swapped it for more ADA when it was at £2800. Seems like a wise move so far.

Damn, I'm up almost 30% in 3 days. This can only end badly.

I think there's a backlash against the less-green currencies.

So what are people's feelings on the short term for Cardano? A month or so ago the forecasts I read suggested it might hit $2 by year end but that has obviously been blown out of the water. Is that down solely to Musk's comments on sustainability and people diving in to this one in the hope that's where his gaze goes?

My view is cryptocurrencies make no sense and defie logic, but Cardano does seem to have the comparative-efficency angle going for it. Even if that lunatic doesn't specifically try to pump Candarno, now that the conversation has turned towards that metric, which ever coin becomes in-favour Candarno will probably ride on the tailwaves to some degree.

But I know very little about these things. Someone here the other day (sorry, can't remember who right now) was saying it couldn't get as valuable on a per-coin bases as the well known coins due to 'market cap', but I have no idea what this means in reality and what the potential of the coin is.

Cardano is expected to reach $8-10 by the end of the year, so I'm holding and will look to invest more. Currently I only have a pitiful 17 ADA but I'll be consolidating that considerably as and when I can.

Been loving the recent Cardano progress. Can't help but feel frustrated by Ether's struggle.

Wish I had put more into Cardano now, obviously. Will probably pump it up and hope the surge continues.

I sold my Tether stock and then bought 250 Cardano ADA a few days back which seems to have worked out well. I didn't take the plunge and spend the TV Fund (Wish I had!) but overal happy with how things currently sit. Just need to get out of the habit of constantly checking Coinbase. Really want to just try and forget about it and then check in 6 months.

£550 down in four days... at what point do we admit anyone who sold Ether when it went over £3k wasn't a PHB after all and in fact we're the suckers?! :dread:
