A thing is so good because actually it's terrible.

I'd never heard of Luna crypto but it's taken an absolute hammering.

These just seem like humblebrags that anyone had 3 million dollars to begin with and were stupid enough to put it in a crypto virtually no-one has ever heard of.

Unfortunately it's not just people with so much money they can afford to lose millions and not blink.

I lost over 450k usd, I cannot pay the bank. I will lose my home soon. I'll become homeless. suicide is the only way out for me https://www.reddit.com/r/terraluna/comments/un3w7t/i_lost_over_450k_usd_i_cannot_pay_the_bank_i_will/.compact

They've pinned suicide prevent call centres as the top post. :dread:

Yeah I know, it's dreadful, harrowing, and sad, those were just two specific posts from KSI who's musician or streamer or whoever.

I mean bitcoin maximalists are basically feudalists at the moment, so I doubt they're going socialist anytime soon.

Nah, sell the lot and get the strawberry float out. Crypto is just another billionaire play thing, that's designed to make them richer, while strawberry floating over the people at the bottom and the environment.

I'm not sure that's the ringing endorsement he thinks it is.

The last image I needed in my head at half 7 on a Thursday morning was that of Matt Hancock's latest pump and dump, so thanks for that.

Haha, I've watched my assets become a 3rd of the value they were over the past month or two. An 7th of the value they were at ATH last November.

Meh, there was a point when I said 'no more investing in Crypto, just let it ride' and I've done that. I stuck to my plan and it's gone pear shapped. I'll continue to watch it plummet and hope that by the end of 2023 or whenever this bear Market is over that I can take out my original investment.

I'm not sure how much down I'd be if I withdrew TODAY but probably not too much, sad thing is it's locked in until end of August. (I'd have likely withdrew my original deposits about a month ago in all honesty had it not been.)

I don't have much faith in it recovering, and I'll laugh at my own stupid self in years to come if it doesn't, but in all honesty, it's money I can afford to lose(although what a stupid strawberry floating way to lose it), so I have forgotten about it and I'm letting it ride the storm. Hopefully my patience will pay off.

I'm glad I have stuck to my guns of don't buy any more and don't buy more than I can afford to lose now. I am not tempted in the slightest to 'buy the dip' as I just can't see much sign of this stopping. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but meh, I invested in something for personal gain and I got burned, maybe it's Karma.
