Well duh obviously they need to be covered in living tissue or they wouldn't be able to come back in time to tell us to invest in Skynetcoin.

I think it's almost certainly a real person who is being paid to go onto forums and mention that website in cryptocurrency discussions. I'm mostly just interested to see if they'll respond in a more genuine way if engaged with.

I suspect not, the mindset is usually "cover blown, onto the next account".

And that's kind of a shame because if someone came in here and just said "I work for this cryptocurrency website, if anyone wants to ask me a question about it just let me know, peace out" I probably wouldn't ban them, y'know? It's the deception and spam that makes it annoying.

O..K...?

Yeah, I am a robot, obviously. :x

Sorry if this came over as spam, but.. this is a thread about Bitcoins and other Crypto-currencies. I have accounts on a few exchanges, and the one I mentioned (won't do it again, since...well, I don't want to spam you guys) is something, I really believe in. Not sure how many other crypto platforms can claim, that they are officially regulated and so on.

OK, cool! You are more than welcome to discuss Bitcoin stuff here. (EDIT: And to clarify, you can mention whatever websites you like by name!) But please cool down on the off-site links: when both of your first posts have off-site links embedded in them people are going to think you are a shill or a robot -- that's true not just here, but across basically all forums in my experience. Sorry for the confusion.

Beep beep :D

It's ok.. My bad. Enthusiasm sometimes gets the best of me, what can I say.. told most of my friends about it (so they get off my back about "maaan, where do I buy Bitcoin nowdays..)... I just figured it's nice to mention it in such a group as well.

Will chill. :datass: If anybody has questions about "new / secure crypto platforms", feel free to ask.

Better?

We'll let you off by confiscating one bag of marbles.

Karl is right that you would fit the pattern at first sight.. Like 90% human, which is why he had the courtesy to question it (I regularly delete obvious spammers on sight). If you are affiliated or use affiliation links, please disclose them, and as long as you are adding value to the discussion and advertising isn't your primary objective (we have no way of knowing) that's totally cool.

I'm pretty clued up on this as I was an SEO before.

Sorry if it all looks overly inhospitable, but we have to be diligent because we are a giant target for spam with good Google listings, which is probably how you found us. We've had history with shills, one instance actually became quite famous as a failed PR disaster. And on a personal level, both Karl and I are a little concerned about how "winning at Bitcoin" could overly excite financially vulnerable people into poorly investing their money (making them good targets for advertising);- as has been noted earlier in this thread, there's a good balance of BTC skeptics and evangelists in here, looking at the "bubble" pattern forming, the general velocity and instability of crypto, and the gains (and losses) some people have made. Some have even compared BTC to a pyramid scheme. I'm not sure if regulation is a good thing, as my knowledge it pretty poor on the subject (I wish it wasn't as I could have made a lot of money - see what I mean?), if you want to advocate that, be our guest. There are quite a few people really into crypto here :D

Everyone still holding?

I have my eye on some cheap Nucleus Vision, 8500 coins for £100 is very tempting right now.

This is all very very shady, dude with Crones Disease takes trip to India, and dies. His wife/ business partners say they not only don't know his password, but they don't even know his wallet address so won't be able to tell if any coins are actually removed from the wallets.

To be fair, it is a safe and secure as no strawberry floater can get to the cold storage.

I've got crohn's and will be checking it out soon enough, can't let illness stop you doing things m8

Seems weird though, crohn's isn't generally something that has you just keeling over.
