That kind of gooseberry fool is exactly why I don't see crypto moving beyond a store of value role for years yet. The fees are crazy and the infrastructure is just not scalable.

The technology is more interesting than the currencies in most cases. Take NFTs; snake oil trash as a way of selling art, interesting technology for ie digital paperwork, proof of identity

There are other cryptocurrencies which are a lot better suited for everyday payments, XRP, Cardano, Litecoin etc.

Bitcoin is more store of value, digital gold.

When climate change is by far the biggest issue of the era cryptomining is just depressing.

Yes sadly I don't see Bitcoin moving to a proof-of-stake model any time soon, and that's the currency which has by far the biggest carbon footprint.

Ok crypto.com coin has me hooked. I've been looking for a cashback card for so long. Time to finally cancel my shitey 1 % amex that i have to pay £25 a year for.

I've been staking various assets on the KAVA defi platform (BNB, XRP and the KAVA token) and am getting roughly £4 every day in rewards. It's addictive I tells you.

Transferring the workplace pension pot to a SIPP (so can choose index funds or individual shares) is easy.

No option to hold crypto coins in ISAs or Pensions.

I've moved my portfolio over to coinbase pro but I don't actually know how to use it.

Ether reached just over £1,850 during the night can't believe how quickly it's moved to tickling the £2k mark. Looks like a widespread transaction (withdrawals only) fault in Coinbase has caused a dip though and we're back down to £1,780 at the time of writing.

I actually can't remember the process when I signed up to Coinbase but it was incredibly quick. I'm guessing I would have used my driving licence. I was verified in a couple of minutes. However, one of my friends then did the same thing a few weeks later and it took over a week for his account to be verified...

I'm a bit surprised some of you are confused by the Pro UI. It's not a pleasing aesthetic, but if you're looking to withdraw your balance you literally just tap on the balance icon, then the 'Withdraw' option and it's very straightforward from there.

Yeah it seems easy enough to withdraw its just the rest of it, I guess if I'm just holding some for a bit them selling when I want to it is all overkill.

I think what I'm going to do is hold it in Coinbase "normal" as the interface is nicer for seeing how my few pots are doing and when I want to sell then transfer for coinbase pro as it is instant and free, then sell there to reduce on fees.

I'm really enjoying the crypto.com app.

I just chucked £300 at Dogecoin when it was on 20p. Now its on 23p. It's amazing how you can make quick cash, but also lose quick cash. I don't want to lose this £300 so i'll withdraw quickly if it hits 25. Should be an extra £30-40
