I'd go further than that and say Daniel Day-Lewis was crap in that film.

Oh come off it!

Jesus, just because you like it doesn't mean everyone else has to as well. :|

I never said that, that's if I was taking my point to the extremes, which I am not. I can't even be arsed to argue it because it always boils down to opinions. In my opinion, saying TDK is a bad film is "wrong" (for lack of a better word), because that's putting it amongst so many truly bad films, it does what it sets out to do well, it's an alright film at the very least.

I don't like arguing on the internet, so I'll leave it at that.

You said I was being different for the sake of it, which is something completely different. I am not being different for the sake of it, I genuinely don't think The Dark Knight is that good.

If you think that, then

It's impossible to debate with HSH.

I wish HSH would pretend to know what he's talking about in just the games forum.

That's hardly fair. He regularly pretends to know what he's talking about in Ask The Forum too.

Overacting is not good. I just couldn't believe that performance at all, it was laughable.

I watch a lot of films, I do know what I'm talking about. Just because you disagree with me, doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about.

I liked TDK. I thought it was very enjoyable, had a great sense of tension (aided perfectly by Ledger of course) and had some excellent moments. I wouldn't say it was classic and it certainly had its flaws, but definitely an enjoyable and polished film. Blade Runner is better though...

Anyone that thinks Two Face was under-developed and tacked on, doesn't understand his character at all. I think his character was strawberry floating brilliant and I understood him perfectly. He was utterly captivating to watch and I felt a could relate to him completely. I preferred him to The Joker by far.

Pfft - Had Bladerunner debuted last year I bet half of you lot would be calling it a pile of over-rated tripe. Just like the reception it received on it's original debut. The only comparison I can see with both movies are that they're both stonking great and deserve all the recognition they receive.

Damn straight o/
He should have got more attention for playing Dent, bloody brilliant. The real backbone of the film.

Blade Runner > T.d.k, batman begins> spiderman films

The Spiderman films are quite good though. They're not amazing, provocative pieces of film but they do what they set out to do pretty well.

Both pretentious (yes), both sooo overated, they're a match made in

yeah anyway. Blade Runner is probably better compared to the first Batman; they both have a great look and atmosphere, and gooseberry fool plots and tame action sequences which don't stand up today. Except the first Batman isn't overated, so TDK will do.

Jesus H Christ himself thought TDK was stupidly over-rated, that's why Heath is in hell.
