POKE

Patience Hexxy, patience.

I realised I hadn't done any of the Chalice stuff and so have started poking my head in that direction as I believe it was mentioned that there are lore implications to them as well.

EDIT: Also I've started on DS3 as well now so that's proving to be a bit of a distraction! :slol:

You should probably do the ending that actually involves fighting the final boss as well tbf :slol:

Nah, I got the true ending already :datass:

I have made pretty good progress on my NG+ run so the plan was to get through and actually fight him this time.

Yeah I know who you're talking/thinking about, but what about the final boss? ;)

:P

I'm not planning on going for 100% on it or anything, mainly going to try and clear some Chalice dungeon stuff and then roll on through to the final boss.

I might then submit to him again just to annoy everyone. ;)

started playing this after finishing off Death Stranding.

going with the threaded cane and a top hat :datass: because i almost always go Strength only in Souls games and i wanted to switch it up. currently being tempted by the breezeblock on a stick weapon though - must resist!
im in Old Yarnham being wrecked by the hostile hunter. the gatling guy jumped off the tower by himself  :fp: which was quite ridiculous.

Bought the GOTY cheap like a year ago and basically abandoned it right at the beginning. I'd completed Dark Souls and the DLC but couldn't get into this at all. Couldn't even beat Cleric Beast.

Started a new file today on a whim choosing hunter's axe instead of the threaded cane and zoomed through. Bought a saw cleaver after getting the badge in the sewers and beat Cleric Beast on the first attempt after leveling it up to +1. Wasn't even seriously attempting to fight Cleric Beast I was just spamming R1 to test my new weapon. He barely hit me whatsoever while I just rolled around hacking his feet.

I blame the threaded cane for making me ignore this game.

I used the threaded cane on my second playthrough and loved it.

I used a mix of cane and axe for my first play through and enjoyed both styles immensely!

I'm tempted to get back into this. I'm on new game plus 3 I think. But I've given up at the snake forest. Hate that place. Easily the worst area of the game.

Wish my image sig would work

Was two hits away from killing Gascoigne in my first attempt solo but got stuck in the scenery. Rang the beckoning bell on the spur of the moment and summoned someone instantly. Together we killed Gaz in like thirty seconds.

Just got summoned by someone else and seemingly forgot how to play the game properly. I was awful that time.
Killed Gaz again though.

right, game 'completed'
i collected 4 umbilical cords and then forgot to eat them so got the middle ending :fp:
which also meant i couldnt die to MP and then go to the DLC :fp:
Mergo and Gerhman were surprisingly easy to beat, Ebrietas less so :dread: i couldnt dodge the charge so summoned the NPC and just stayed behind her butt tentacles and cheesed her

now Amelia is kicking my arse in NG+, once i beat her ill open the DLC and have a go

I don't really remember having a problem with Ebrietas, but do recall the dash/carge attack being a bit annoying.

Only boss I found to be really annoying was in the DLC I believe.

Ebrietas gave me a load of trouble, didn't know there was an NPC summon available for the fight. That might have helped.
