And now he pulls invisibility out of his ass.

And then he flies.

And then swinging his scythe in midair half a mile away kills me in one hit.

Brilliant.

They are also releasing the main game with the DLC included on one disk for those who don't have it yet. Apparently due 3rd December.

I felt like Patrick Bateman in American Psycho when I finally killed him.

Haha! I actually screamed at the TV when I got him. strawberry floating shitter.

After that Melgo's Wet Nurse was something of a walk in the park, got her on the second go. Then...urgh...Gherman. strawberry float me, he's worse than Gasgoine, can't get him past half.

Welp, finished. I've had a wee, non-spoilery look at what's left to do and, holy moly it looks like I've hardly done half of the stuff! Did you guys use a guide at all? I don't want to but most of the stuff seems almost impossibly difficult to unlock on your own.

Old hunters edition out in the uk? Probably worth getting as this will be the only dlc for the game! Will tide us over nicely until dark souls 3.

I must say the dlc this gen has been a step above last gens. I do feel that from would have been better off replacing the chalice dungeons with one more main tombstone area.

I convinced my wife to give this a go and after lots of trying she finally beat the cleric beast last night. I never expected her to stick with it as she doesn't play many difficult games but she just text me saying that she best Father Gascoigne on her first attempt. I'm so proud.

That's impressive, I have finished every Souls game and it still took me several attempts to beat Gascoine. In fact I don't think there were any bosses in Bloodborne that I killed first try apart from Celestial Emissary and perhaps
Moon Prescence
.

Gaagoine took me about 20 goes and was by far the most frustrated I got with the game, real " throw your controller across the room " stuff.

Started a new playthrough last night. Forgot how mental the camera was on the Cleric Beast.

I've done co-op with some folk who summoned Father Gazza, the AI for him is hilarious. Doesn't give a gooseberry fool and just runs up to any enemy and goes absolutely mental with his axe

I managed to one-go Gascoigne the first time.

With my second character and my NG+ run I wasn't so lucky.

Will probably need to run him again for the dlc since I only have 2 characters at NG+ and ++ respectively. We'll see how terrible I do this time.

Anyone got the CE guide?

Mine just turned up and unless I'm missing something the cover has been attached the wrong way round.

The front should just be the Hunter's rune, right?
With "Fear The Old Blood" on the back.

I presume so, its back to front and upside down on mine as if its been attached the wrong way up.

Been back playing this, this week and now at the final boss (Playthrough 1) what a great game this is with some very tricky bosses.

In the Spoiler box is

a video against the Byrgenwerth Hunter

and the hidden boss Ebrietas

9GB update is out. Adds a new covenant and a bunch of NPC summons. Presumably this update contains the DLC as well. Patch notes on reddit translated from Japanese https://www.reddit.com/r/bloodborne/com ... e_changes/
