Anyone?

No. Didn't think so.

It's like Destiny all over again. Just give me time, I'll get there!

The fat dude by the side of large gate doors? Nice one. He's one of the tougher regular mobs early on.

:D

That's the chap. I'd completely missed the shortcut there too.

After making it past Father Gascoigne, I've definitely clicked with this. I'm still taking it slowly, but it doesn't seem as impossible as it did at the start.

Maybe it was all in my head, or maybe it's down to a healthy supply of item drops, but I'm doing a lot better than I'd hoped.

The way it all fits together is really quite something, when you think about it. I'm expecting grief from future bosses, but the fact that I'm able to actually get out and explore the areas and experience that is really helping with my enjoyment and that feeling of progress.

Looking forward to seeing what I'm put up against next!

The game is never as against you or out to get you as is sometimes suggested, it is difficult in places but often times that can be down to what you are doing and slight adjustment to that often leads to victory.

I beat a guy. In PvP. Man he must have been hella gooseberry fool for me to best him

Actually, he looked to be equipped with low level gear and didn't do much damage with the visceral attack he got in, so I'm guessing he was quite low level.

RIP in peace, Mumbatoo.

Had 2 co-operators in Old yarnham, helped me beat the two hunters, one was a patient bastard as he stood there waiting for me to explore the area before we faced the Blood Starved Beast. Barely took a hit in that fight thanks to those two, was quite funny as we all just stood there waving goodbye as they died from poisoning. Also chased an invader half way across the map as he desperately tried to get beasts to make up his disadvantage (only two of us at this point), shooting him in the back as he went  Great fun.

Also how important is the item you get from the hunter on the roof because we knocked him off and the item is sitting there hover in mid air :dread:

That thing is like a bomb. Lure the coffin strawberry floaters into it for free damage.

The lamp on the steps above the hunters is the one you would activate after being abducted and sent to jail earlier in the game. In this portion of the game it no longer works.

It's the hunters that are annoying me. :x

strawberry floating Gman. I keep doing really well but tripping up. His scythe attack that pulls you toward him is so irritating.

What the strawberry float!? That was the end of the game?! Oookay. So yeah, turns out I had no strawberry floating idea what was going on story wise as I just feel totally confused now. :fp:

Shouted "what?" when the credits started rolling.

Beat those hunters, tried to cheese them up by the lamp and they came inside anyway but I just got them. Looking downstairs with 5 blood vials left and I found a strawberry floating boss :dread: Darkbest Paarl. Wasn't prepared for a boss's fight at all but luckily it seemed to be for earlier on in the game so I took it down :datass:

Beat all 3. Just separate them. Easy. :datass:

Alt cheese method for those hunters: lure the one on the steps (the rest should follow) and peg it into the cells down below (helps if one of the cell doors is opened beforehand), shut cell door quickly and cheese them through the bars  I figured that one out by myself 8-) after I couldn't get the lamp/doorway one to work. (they can still reach you in the cell with certain attacks, but hit and run 'em and you should be fine.)

Man, that Nightmare place goes shortcut crazy. Elevators *everywhere*!
