The best way to get souls is probably by cooperating as helper in other peoples games, or invading.

It isn't the lack of blood, just that the game continues to frustrate. I'm now level 80 and feel that my character should just be tougher. I can't remember which dungeon I'm currently doing (lower Plerereemmdfrgreg I think) and just beat the first boss, which was 3 big enemies, 1 with a gun, the other 2 slowly coming at you with their swords. This was difficult enough and now I've moved onto level 2. Not sure what the name of the enemies are but they are robed and I'll call them "death" (I've encountered them before but they are now more difficult). I'm level 80 and 2 hits from them kill me? WTF?

Then in the nightmare place (next to the lecture hall), jellyfish singing creatures that kill me easily with Frenzy. What level do you have to be so this doesn't feel like work/grinding non stop?

On your first playthrough, level 80 is just dandy for the point you're at. It's not an easy game - you just have to deal with that. Those Jellyfish creatures (Brain Trusts) are one of the nastiest in the game, but you deal with them by dressing up in the Ashen Hunter set you should have picked up by now (buy it from the Insight messengers - available after you killed the machine gunner on top of the tower in Old Yarnham) and using sedatives; also equipping a decent anti-frenzy caryll rune (you get a -200 one by the viper pits in Forbidden Woods). You are very close to the end now. It'll soon be over.

Not for me I don't think.

There is the boss (3 Ninja type guys) also in the Nightmare place that I have no idea how to beat and also the metalic/electrical boss near the jail place that I have no idea how to beat either.

That metallic/electrical boss is Darkbeast Paarl, and you don't have to beat it. Just avoid it altogether. I don't remember 3 ninja type bosses in either Nightmare Frontier or Nightmare of Mensis. You've beaten the Shadows of Yarnham at the end of Forbidden Woods, and Rom after that, yeah?

My mistake, Shaodows of Yarnham are actually the 3 ninja guys and not in the Nightmare Frontier! As for Paarl, it is possible to get past his area without fighting it? :|

I'll have another look tonight to see if there is a way round.

You don't have to fight Paarl at all beating him just unlocks a rather pointless shortcut back to an earlier area. The boss you need to fight in that area comes a bit later on.

Have you tried summoning in some help? I have always had co-op buddies when taking on Shadows of Yharnam.

I did try when I first started playing the game but as no one came, just carried on playing myself.

But yesterday I thought I'd give it another shot. Rang the bell before Paarl and someone turned up! I probably did a quarter or a third of the work to defeat him and the other guy did the rest.

I then did the same for the Shadows and again another ally turned up. This time though I did most of the work, I took out two of them myself and then helped the other guy finish off the third.

What this has shown me is that the difficulty level of the game needs tuning, for one player it is unnecessarily hard and if you get someone to help you, it is ridiculously easy.

After struggling on my own, just feels like cheating.

Y'see, I didn't feel that at all on my first playthrough. Come NG+1, though...boy there's a hike in difficulty. It felt much more of a leap than in Dark Souls.

That was partly true for me. I had to summon for different bosses in NG+ than in my first game. For example first time around I had to summon for Rom but after that I did it on my own and in my first game I killed Amelia on my own but had to summon 2nd time round.

So, when is this DLC out? I really loved Bloodborne, but felt it was a little too short, so more Bloodborne is only a good thing!

Too short? It took me like 40 hours to get to the end.

Probably took me around 40 hours, but felt I wanted more. I still have the chalice dungeons to do, but didn't really enjoy them. I may delve into it again soon, but love The Witcher 3 too much!

You can't ignore dungeons and then say it was too short!

They're hardly part of the main game, tbh. I didn't even look at them until after I beat the final boss. The game still isn't short without them, though.
