Back to Dishonored 2, Shadow OTC and Rime actually. Just because I can't get into one particular game, doesn't mean that I play only what the adverts tell me too. Subjectivity my good man.

I'll download it again and give it a decent chance but I'm not optimistic that I'll get into it(nothing to do with the difficulty,that was obvious jokey bravado on the previous page). I didn't initially like Dishonored but ended up loving it so it makes sense to give something else that's a bit different a proper go.

I WILL NOT however,give The Beatles another chance, I can appreciate them but I just don't strawberry floating like them and I never will.

How do I equip a weapon? I've got a weapon for each hand... they're in my inventory... but when I use the R1/R2 or L1/L2 buttons I just swing my fists. I've gone into Inventory and can see the weapons listed, but when I press X on them I get a Use/Discard option and Use doesn't do anything.

Press the options button and equip them in one of the four squares on the second horizontal row down.

. I can't believe that this bit isn't explained at all*. I have moved each weapon into the hand slots and I can see that you press left/right on the dpad to select between them and your fists. Right, time to tackle that first wolf-monser again!

* I have played this early bit before but have barely any recollection of it...

Was exploring (I think) "Central Yarnham" and got killed by a guy wielding a flame. This is a tough game and I dunno how I'm gonna get on with the repeated "lol you died... try again" aspect but the environments are wonderful. Packed with atmosphere and lovely detailing.

Already had Bloodborne but this has got me in the mood for a replay so I've bought the discounted DLC. Can I access the DLC if I continue with my old NG+ or do I need to start with a fresh game?

I've been playing games for 25 years and consider myself half-decent at them but I also went through this struggle :lol:

I went on to complete the game so hope is not lost Jawa!

You can access it in NG+ but it might be pretty tough at that level.

. "Blood Gem Contact"... apparently a blood gem "imbues hunter weapons with a special strength". Got it by duffing up some big, metal-clad dude in Central Yharnam. I haven't tried using it yet.

Then wandered back to Hunter's Dream and met Gehrman.

Edit: Am also now sporting a Bloodborne theme on the home screen. Dat immersion :datass:
