Am I the only person who thinks that the longer they delay this the more money it'll make?

Presumably MGM have already paid out to have the film made so they must have very good cash reserves to just sit on its release for a year.

That's possibly and to see if it will beat Skyfall $1.1bn.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind to pay for it on VOD but I guess I will wait until the release at the cinema.

If they hit that sweet spot of this being the first big blockbuster when everyone is happy going out again, it could do crazy numbers.

I think they've gone slightly too conservative with the release date though. In this country at least. Guess it needs to be balanced with elsewhere.
