About time I say! I'm sure Daniel Craig will return and I'd prefer Martin Campbell to direct Bond 25.

I wasn't a huge fan of Spectre so I'm going to be cautiously watching this develop rather than getting too excited yet.

How old is Craig now - must be getting on for 50 surely?

He'll be 50 next year and Sir Roger Moore retired when he was 58.

Yeah I agree about being cautiously watching this develop.

I was never a huge Moore fan so I kind of gloss over just how old he got as I lost interest in that era generally, but yes there's obviously precedent for a fairly old Bond to still work. Plus I imagine Craig has kept himself in a bit better shape than Moore ever did.

Talking of Moore's age I still find it funny how Moore was actually older than Connery when he took over.

James Bond will return to US cinemas on November 8, 2019 with a traditional earlier release in the UK and the rest of the world. Bond 25, the next adventure in the long-running action franchise, will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, long time collaborators and writers on previous Bond films including CASINO ROYALE, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, SKYFALL and SPECTRE. The film will be produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. Additional details regarding distribution, including international release dates, the film’s cast and director, will be announced at a later date.

So, they've confirmed the writers and that means it would be ruled out for Christopher Nolan to direct it.

Spectre was a bit naff (that helicopter scene  :dread: ) so not particularly enthused about this. Feels like the series could do with some new blood, Craig seems to have lost the spark that he has in Casino Royale.

You'd need the right director for Russ Abbot, it would be important to get the right atmosphere:

What if we agree to make David Tennant the 14th Doctor next James Bond?

Been confirmed that Daniel Craig will be back in the next Bond. Guess they finally figured out the satnav on that truck full of money.

I'd like a more concise story that isn't just over the top ridiculous, I know it's Bond but the past few have felt stupid, and almost as if they've taken Bond as far as they can, whilst simultaneously wasting the talents of the two of the best villain actors around Waltz/Bardem

I'd quite like it if the villain didn't get someone to drive Bond to his hideout like the last guy did as that kind of made all the spying a bit pointless.
