Rami Malek is fantastic and has all the ability to give us a genuinely great Bond villain, really looking forward to what he brings to this.

But yeah Craig does look ancient, he wasn't the most dashing and youthful guy at the start of his tenure but it's been getting increasingly difficult to believe that so many people would be falling at the feet of this craggy old geezer now!

Yeah Moore was genuinely into old man territory by the end. It's ridiculous to think that part of the motivation for replacing Connery was that he was getting on a bit and yet they chose to bring Moore in who was older than Connery! :lol:

Delayed again, until April 2021:

MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience. We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year,” said the studio in a statement. MGM was the first studio to foresee how the pandemic was going to stall exhibition, and jumped No Time to Die from its Easter weekend release date of April 10-12 to the Thanksgiving frame.

I truly want to see it but at this situation of Covid-19 I'd rather to wait and go to the cinema when it's safe to do so.

By April, Daniel Craig will be as old as Sean Connery was in his last performance as Bond.

At some point someone is going to have to take a chance and release one of their films as they are all stacking up and could possibly do even worse business against all the competition next year.

It’s made 250m worldwide. If it was held back a year and up against a summer full of releases would it really have any better. Obviously we will never know but I don’t think it would.

Bond would have been a lot more successful than something like Tenet, particularly in the UK.

Thats a loss for a film like Tenet but i take your point on next year. I guess it depends what they do next summer with the release schedule. They'll want to avoid competing too hard. Some stuff might get pushed to 2022. They'll also have less in the pipeline with production being hit.

Of course 2021 might be as bad hit by coronavirus as well...

Guessing you're counting Never Say Never Again as Connery's last Bond rather than Diamonds Are Forever? Craig was nearly as old as Connery in Diamonds when he did his first movie!

Yes, but could Craig do this?

I still try to go to the cinema as often as I can. Cineworld just sent me a free popcorn and and a Nacho's voucher and also gave me the option of freezing payments for 3 months. Excellent service really.

I hope cinemas survive but I can't see it happening as their business model is based on huge food sales and full cinemas. If there was a star wars or Harry potter this Christmas then that would get people back in.

Indeed, if there were any films coming out then I would go and see them. I didn’t go and see tenet as it didn’t interest me.

I would like to see Disney chuck Mulan out and see if anyone would go and see it. I haven’t bought it on Disney plus as I don’t want to spend £19,99 to watch it at home but I would go to the cinema to watch it for half the price.
