Beasts of No Nation was a decent film but I'm not familiar with any of Fukunaga's other work so it's hard to tell if that's a good choice of director or not.

I'm more worried that they've flopped back to Purvis and Wade as the writers, really not convinced they've got the chops to give the franchise the shot in the arm it really needs.

Public backs Elba as next Bond:

YouGov wrote:A new YouGov survey reveals that Idris Elba is by far the British public’s favourite to play the next Bond. Of those who expressed an opinion, 28% chose Elba. In a distant second place is Tom Hardy on 11%, followed by Tom Hiddleston on 5% and Jason Statham on 3%. Richard Madden, who recently shot up the rankings with the bookies after his successful turn in BBC drama The Bodyguard, was chosen by 2% of those with a view.

I think they should have done it now with 25 rather than wheeling out Craig one more time.

Dalton? :dread:

That's it, your license to post is being revoked.

Just kidding, I actually don't mind Dalton - he never really got the chance he deserved.

Dalton was miles ahead of his time. Both of his movies are fantastic.
