I've heard the theme tune quite a few times now, thanks to Radio1 :x , and I can honestly say I'd rather listen to the Sam Smith song.

Absolutely won't be bothering seeing this at the cinema, unless it comes out and is genuinely amazing.

You do know it's now against the law to not go and see the new Bond film at the cinema.
Looks like 5 years in prison for you :capnscotty: .

12th November for the UK. In a way I'm pleased to be honest.

I'm glad. Anything that helps lower the chance of the coronavirus spreading is a good thing.

Probably a helpful step.

It's a win, win for them really - they get to give the impression that it's a compassionate move to help with the global coronavirus problem and reap the positive PR benefits from that whilst in reality they just know they wouldn't have made as much money releasing it now so delaying it until November helps them rake in more cash.

They did this because the film is bad and they need time to fix it right?

I wonder if the run time will change.

They did this because they want to make lots of money. Releasing a movie in the middle of a flu epidemic is bad for business because lots of people will choose not to go for fear of getting ill.

I don’t think so. They wouldn’t have got this close to release before pulling it if that was the case. I think it’s purely because they’re worried people won’t be leaving the house in a month’s time. They could potentially miss out on hundreds of millions.

Yep it's purely a business decision. It just happens in this instance that the thing which is best from a money making perspective is also the thing that is genuinely the right thing to do anyway.

Which makes a change.
