Yup.

That's precisely how I do it and 99/100 I get the game I want on launch. Often times, as with Mad Max and MGSV, I will get both of 'em.

I received an email from them confirming that the game had been despatched, so that's good. If the service is constantly like this then it's very cost efficient way to play new games. £180 for 1 year for a minimum of 24 new games. Not that i have the time!

Anyone had Black Ops sent out yet? I've had it got to long wait on my rental list but I only reactivated my account today. Usually it doesn't change until Thursday.

Boomerang have added new bonus games:

On PS4: Helldivers: Super Earth UE, Dishonored DE, Until Dawn, Onechanbara Z2 Chaos, Mad Max and Metal Gear Solid V.

On XB1: Gears of Wars, Rare Replay, Madden NFL 16, Metal Gear Solid V, Mad Max and Dishonored DE.

Or not since they seem to have removed it as a bonus game now, and removed the ability to easily add games as bonus games from your rental list :fp:

It seems virtually impossible to find out what games you can get as a Bonus game now. It used to tell you on your rental list if a game could be had as a bonus game, and give you a button to have it that way. Now though the rental list page has been massively changed and the Bonus game button has been removed. They've also removed the Bonus Game button from the individual page of games that are bonus games. The Bonus Game button only seems to appear when you're looking at the general availability pages or search results.
As far as I can tell there isn't any kind of filter option to show just games that are available as Bonus Games, nor can I find an overall list anywhere.

There used to be a Bonus Game button next to the game title on the rental list, but not any more.

No idea about mobile site.

On regular website, bonus game option for each console is within each console tab option.

Doesn't help that those are grey on grey mind

Still wish they'd left the Bonus Game option on the rental list though. It made way more sense since the games I want are already going to be on that list, so a quick method to upgrade one to a Bonus game was great.

Are any of those games (Bloodborne, THH and Battlefront) bonus games? I just checked on webstore and they don't appear in bonus game lists.

Bloodborne used to be a Bonus game, but seems to have been removed since, around the time they did their revamp.
Oddly, the GOTY edition used to be on my rental list, but that seems to have been removed from the site altogether since.

Yeah. I noticed both those things while on the site. Weird. Especially removal of GotY edition. I've tweeted 'em for answers on both fronts. Should get a reply on Monday.

Oh, yeah, there did used to be a 5th tab that said 'bonus games'.
I just check which ones are and which ones aren't by going to 'browse' and selecting 'bonus games' from there. Not ideal if you have a lot of backlog or something.
