Are you thinking of buying the game and would like opinions?

I went and activated that new game plus mode like a complete strawberry floating idiot and now I'm back at the start.
I didn't take a blind bit of notice of the story the first time so yeah, that was a stupid move :fp: .

It's a good game and co-op is great fun.
It's worth buying if you like this sort of thing.

You can just choose to go back to normal mode, they act like two different saves

You must have raced through campaign ignoring side quests. I was level 36-38 by time I reached the end first time and over 40 on second character where I was doing some repeat boss farming.

The side quests are great and extremely varied.
Fade and I did a quest yesterday about building a memorial rocket for a dead robot and helping his robot friend come to terms with the grief and finishing with a dance to cheer him up. It was pretty emotional for a FPS and nicely done in a sympathetic way.

Fade wrote:Yeah, I don't particularly like Moze, she's pretty dumb of you know how to se her up.

She either has massive shields with huge damage and is impossible to kill.

Or infinite ammo, grenades and health regeneration. You can literally just win by throwing grenades everywhere.

It's not fun after an hour or so.

I think she’s a fun character to play.

I feel the latest hot fix has nerfed drop rates. I’m on my third character play through and I’ve barely had any legendaries yet my first two runs they were dropping at a steady and fairly regular pace.

One of the big issues with modern gaming is how a game can change from review to release and when it was reviewed everyone said it rained loot. Now it doesn't rain so often and the review scores don't change at all.

I’m not complaining, in fact I felt it was a little too generous maybe. If you keep getting legendaries you don’t try out other guns. Although when specifically farming it would be nicer to get a few more drops but I guess that’s what mayhem is for.

They’re mourning the bloke who made them who dies in the main story not another robot I think? The first vault hunter

It was a nice mission and something different.
Sometimes it's just nice to help someone and while Claptrap can be a tad annoying I feel his heart is in the right place overall.

The final Claptrap request mission shows that he does have a heart. I thought it was a nice moment as well.

Yeah, he's still an annoying prick though

I think you'd really enjoy the Dungeon's and Dragons DLC for Borderlands 2, you should give it a go somewhen if you managed to nab it on plus. You get more out of it if you know the characters but the missions are still really fun and varied from a story perspective.

Anyways, the Bloody Harvest event patch is available and it will start at 9pm. It's free for everyone, no micro transaction bullshit either (Ala destiny)

It also includes a photo mode which is really robust.

Also, would anyone on PS4 like an infinity pistol?

Is the infinity pistol good? I'm about level 38 I think.

It fires in a figure of 8 pattern that makes it inaccurate at long range but up close it’s pretty decent and depending on character the lack of reloading is a bonus. My Moze set up makes nearly all pistols infinite due to huge mag size and ammo regen.

Did the Halloween event mission last night, and got the Platinum, number 50 on the board.
