I have no idea why but almost every time I go into the Slaughter Shaft all the enemies are Badass or anointed and it's impossible to solo.
Even if I cheese it like strawberry float it's impossible as they take so much damage I end up running out of ammo on all guns as every enemy has about a million hp and they have pinpoint accuracy and hit like a strawberry floating truck.

I don't mind a new elite enemies but all of them :x .

You on regular or mayhem? I find mayhem can screw you over solo. Even though I’ve only played this solo I love the game but I know that I’ll struggle on mailman takedown or circle of slaughters.

I’m one level from maxing out all four hunters. Think I’ve found Moze the least enjoyable although I heard latest patch has made the iron bear useable. Zane was most fun for me, love that digi clone teleporting! I agree with general opinion that Fl4K is the easiest to play solo. You can set him up to deal huge crit damage and score them from shooting anywhere which makes most things a cake walk.

Amara was my first character so might go back and experiment with her. I had a super powerful mele build that could one punch most enemies. Trouble is that set up was useless against bosses. I do now have a facepuncher legendary shotgun which I think deals damage based off of your melee damage which might work nicely!

I'm trying mayhem 3.
I have FL4K with a regen build and ok weapons and I just get spanked. My pet can do some pretty epic damage but against all epic enemies it's just almost pointless. It does also feel like it decides that it's going to just strawberry float you over by just flinging everyone at you all at once and when you are solo it's just impossible.

I managed to solo all of the slaughter. :datass:

But before you can say “that’s impressive!”

I camped like a wee bitch I am.

I know it’s cheap but I keep reloading until I get mayhem modifiers that suit my build. If I can get assault rifle +50% and elemental damage +50% without too many negatives it’s usually enough to fit my badass fire COV assault rifle. Deals more damage and doesn’t consume ammo when overheated. Can’t remember the name but it’s a legendary.

That's what I've been doing as well as some of the modifiers can be horrific.
I regularly see
-50% damage to all weapons, enemies get double HP and double damage, -50% to all elements and enemies are twice as accurate which would make for a super fun game I'm sure for the 10 seconds I'd last :slol: .
Maybe if I had a god tier build like the no life youtubers I could manage but I don't so can't.

Farm on mayhem 1 to get decent legendaries at your current level. Graveward or traunt are good quick spots. If fighting traunt take a good shock weapon and he should be easy enough. Spend an hour or two farming and you should have sufficient decent gear to have a crack at mayhem 3 (with favourable modifiers of course)

I have farmed Traunt on mayhem 3 for hours now with good results but it does become really dull.

Anyone got the DLC. It was pretty enjoyable! Nice new weapons and it was good to have the loader bots back!

I think I have my Amara build nailed. I breezed through whole DLC on mayhem 4 without much effort. Cutsman SMG, Lucians call Rifle, linoage pistol and brainstormer shotgun! Elemental overload!!

Started it last night but lad I was playing with literally fell asleep while we were playing (not a reflection of game quality :slol: ) so only about an hour in. So far so good, need a big boss battle though it's been a bit tame on that front so far.

I've got it downloaded (Season pass at launch) but i've saved it for the upcoming week as I've been so busy with work recently I've hardly played the game in the last month or so.

Looking forward to jumping back in with a new DLC expansion.

Just checked my stats and I’ve played over 190 hours. Gone back to Zane and made a Freeze build. So much fun zipping around at lightning speed freezing everyone with headshots!

Played this for a few hours as I got it for Christmas and it's just a more refined Borderlands 2, which is great.
Still the same great gameplay, humour and plenty of free cosmetics

One more left.

I'm waiting for them all to come out since they keep raising the level cap

So far so Borderlands. But who the hell thought it'd be a good idea to make a new quest replaying the dungeon you haven't even left yet?! And not only that, but to make the player run back to the start to bloody activate it?! That's trolling gone too far. I mean... it's set in a VR version of the dungeon and yet it played almost EXACTLY like before but with a shitty blue filter. How about asking us to replay it but this time making us overpowered, or letting us handle the level in a totally fresh way from the usual Borderlands gameplay style? (Like maybe turning the player into a signal to travel from TV to TV within the base electrocuting the cultists, or allowing the player to take over the minds of cultists to find the target and the named NPC to then somehow sabotage the torturer.) They say you shouldn't accuse devs of being lazy but I dunno what else can be said of that VR mission.
