I'm going to try spending less than £250 this year by only buying new Nintendo titles on release (seeing as they don't come down in price).

I have Animal Crossing, XC:DE and Astral Chain on my Nintendo to buy list although obviously a lot more could get added to that depending on what they add. On the PS4 I'll be getting The Last of Us 2, FF7 Remake, Shenmue 3, Star Wars - Fallen Order, Doom Eternal, Cyberpunk and possibly Watchdogs Legion. Quite a lot there but I'm going to try getting everything at a sub £25 price and will have some as presents for Birthday/Christ,as.

I have a huge backlog to work through though and a lot of unfinished games to return to.

I tell myself this every year but I really do need to be more restrained this year - I've been better at working through games I own over the last few years but I also end up buying too many new games so I never actually make a dent in my backlog.

This year I'm going to try to hold off buying anything until Animal Crossing and FF7 Remake come out in March and instead work on getting through some of the priority games in my backlog. - failed to stick to my plan within a week, could be a new record. I blame Argos and having a big sale of 3DS games, the massive bastards.

First purchase of the year, Okami HD on the Switch. All the systems its been on I've owned yet never experienced it. Looking forward to giving it a go once I clear Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order (PC) and Pokemon Shield (Switch)

Also just bought Grimm Fandango Remastered and Pokemon Shield Expansion Pass. The Switch is getting some serious love

Next purchase will hopefully be Resident Evil 3 Remake sometime next month.

First completion of the year done with Black Flag. Wasted WAY too much time on the fleet side stuff but enjoyed the overall experience. Next up is Shadow of the Colossus which I've never played.

Think im done with Mario Kart now. Wanted to get all golds in 200cc but im not enjoying it anymore
