Drumstick shoots Slayerx with a pistol! Slayerx is dead (2nd)
Drumstick is victorious! (1st)
Congratulations to Drumstick, the sole survivor and inaugural winner of BRcade Battle Royale!
How I won:
Pre-game: I tried to make an alliance with main man Corazon de Leon. He rejected me because he was too busy or something.
Days 1-2: I looted G5 twice and received pistols both times.
Day 3: Mini E and PPM stumbled into my square. An alliance was struck and we as a team decided to move to F5.
Day 4: Also joining us at F5 were Parksey, Vermilion, DarkRula. I immediately messaged DarkRula and Vermilion individually to agree peace treaties. PPM and I agreed to take aim at Parksey whilst Mini E looted.
Day 5: Dual ran into our square. The three of us decided to try and end Dual.
Day 6: Dual got away but not without us getting a shot off and wounding him. With the grid about to close in once again we all agreed to make the move to E5.
Day 7: The move didn't go as planned when, The Traitor, PPM, decided to move to a different square. Undeterred, Mini E and I (aka The Trustworthy Duo) vowed to stick together. Slayerx and Moggy joined us our our new square. I messaged slayerx to try and get him on side, he had already decided to move spaces. Mini E and I decided to kill Moggy.
Day 8: Moggy died. As we were alone on the square, Mini E and I decided to have a night of relative calm. We both opted to loot; he took a shotgun whilst I took a medkit.
Day 9: Seemingly this would be our last day before moving into the Royale Arena. However, because I had a medkit, I decided to hold back on E5 for an extra day and take the 1HP hit before healing once in the Royale Arena. I looted and got my third pistol.
Day 10: I stayed at E5. I also made what would be a fairly crucial alliance with PsychicSykes, promising to go to the end with him if possible.
Day 11: I was moved into the Royale Arena. Sykes decided he was going to take a shot at Vermilion. PPM supported the idea of us all taking aim at separate targets which I agreed to. He was going to target slayerx, though neither myself or Mini E committed to a target. I decided to use my medkit to boost me back up to 3HP.
Day 12: PPM had rather predictably turned on Mini E (who lived for the time being to tell a very angry tale), Sykes merked Vermilion and I wasn't targeted. Mini E put a bounty on PPM's head and I thought it would be a good time to bring Mini E and Sykes together as my two main alliance buddies. I agreed that Sykes would shoot PPM, whilst I went after Tragic Magic (purely because he was on a rampage and held a shotgun which were one hit kills). So, with the three of us linked up and aligned, looking to go deep into the game we headed into Day 13 in great shape.
Day 13: This was almost disastrous. Mini E died at the hands of Tragic Magic and seemingly everyone but me was packing shotguns! The only saving graces were that Sykes survived and I had managed to put an end to Tragic's murderous massacre. However, I knew I would need to do some work to ensure survival, so I got busy. Firstly I messaged slayerx as he was the only other person without a shotgun, selling him on the need to team up. It was agreed he would shoot Oblomov Boblomov. I then messaged Oblomov to make a pact, he said he was going to shoot either Jezo or slayerx which was fine by me. After that, I messaged Sykes to urge him to use his shotgun against Jezo on the basis that Jezo had previously picked up a medkit but hadn't yet used it - meaning he likely had 3HP (or more). I argued that my pistol wouldn't kill him and might allow him to use the medkit to save himself later on. Sykes agreed with this, meaning I had 3 or the 4 remaining people on side to not shoot me. Finally, I contacted Jezo and informed him that Sykes and OB had an alliance and were both going to take aim at him (explaining the medkit reasoning) that night and that he had an opportunity to save himself. I said I was going to be aiming at Oblomov and left him to it, knowing he was probably going to aim at Sykes but it all depended on the RNG. Bottom line was that I done what I needed to do avoid all the remaining crosshairs.
Day 14: Oblomov and Sykes (RIP) both died, but not before Sykes could wound Jezo with the shotgun. This left myself, Jezo and slayerx in the game and I had a level of trust with both of them... but I still only had a pistol. Again, I had some work to do. I contacted slayerx, he told me he was out of ammo and would be looting. Using that, I went to Jezo and concocted a story about slayerx promising not to shoot me but being non-committal about what his action would be that night. I then ramped up the alleged slayerx story by having slayerx change his mind and saying he was going to shoot me for not trusting him. Eventually, through a mish-mash of ideas and plans, I thought I had convinced Jezo of going for the RNG triangle, where slayerx would shoot me, I'd shoot Jezo, who would shoot slayerx. Of course slayerx couldn't shoot me, and if things went to plan and I got lucky with the RNG, victory could be mine.
Day 15: Turned out Jezo saw through "slayerx's" lies and decided to heal up whilst I blasted him with my pistol. Slayerx had looted a shotgun and it was agreed we would shoot Jezo to finally kill him off. Knowing that I would need to get two pistol shots off at slayerx in order to win, I decided to aim for him whilst he took care of Jezo, who confessed to me that he had run out of ammo.
Day 16: With Jezo down there was only one person left and as slayerx had a shotgun but only 1HP, it was going to down to the RNG which wasn't what I really wanted.
Day 17: I got lucky with the RNG and for once had my action go first, killing slayerx with my pistol, to win the game.
Thanks to OrangeRakoon for running the game.
