Finished Breaking Bad last night. Can't say anything that hasn't already been said about how good this is.

Easily the best show I've ever watched.

Why don't they just watch the original with subtitles?

This.

Same with American remakes of UK shows, god forbid they are able to enjoy something without an American accent on it.

They do, it was huge here. Also, this is not a Colombian version, it just happens to be set in Colombia. Most Spanish language dramas and soaps are Mexican/US productions and air in every country down here. There's a Spanish language version of Nip/Tuck and Grey's Anatomy too, which are hilariously bad. There's probably more, but those are the only ones I've seen.

I'm rewatching this and just got to Crawl Space.

Gus doesn't intend to kill or hurt Walt, he just warns Walt that his family will be killed IF Walt goes near Jesse. So then why does Walt run crying to Saul and end up in fits of crazy laughter? What is going on? There is no danger! The DEA can protect Hank, and Gus killing Hank would be unwise anyway since then the whole department would know Hank was onto something.

On another note, great foreshadowing with Ted almost tripping over his rug when he answers the door to Skylar.

But Gus did tell him that he will deal with Hank. And if Walt interfered, he will murder his wife. His son. His newborn baby.

And Walt did go to Saul and have him do an anonymous tip to DEA that a hit is out on Hank... That is why asked Saul to do it a hour after he leave... he arrived home and in his horror that the money he needs for his family and himself to be lifted by the vacuum cleaner guy, is almost all gone.

He burst out in a crazy laughter as he realise he's putting his family in danger by Gus. As he is the only one outside Gus's circle of trust that Hank will be bumped off.

I don't believe that Gus will let Hank be alive any longer than he intended to.

PS My wife and I just finished the entire box set on blu ray and she absolutely loved it. 8-)

Should I just blow £70 and get the complete series on blu ray so I can start watching it in HD with 5.1 sound?
Is it worth it?
Never seen this series before, don't have netflix and also don't fancy watching it on my laptop.

hehe thanks
Decided to get the seasons on blu ray separately coz the box set has that horrible cardboard packaging which probably scratches all the blu ray disks. I'll just buy the seasons as I go so won't have to fork out £70 at once.

Watched the entire series in an 8 day marathon. Amazing stuff. It's a credit to the writers that by the end it was Jesse I felt sorry for and Walt was the dick. A turnaround on how it all started.

Ive just watched to the end of S4. Good ending. Seems like a nice point to leave it. Should I watch S5 or is it rubbish?

You gotta watch to the end. S5 was split into two lots of 8 episodes. The first 8 of these are probably a bit weaker but then the final 8 are right up there with best.
