The Spanish language version of this, Metástasis, starts tonight on Colombian TV. :slol: They've been hyping it up like crazy. It has already aired in full on some US Spanish channel so there are clips of it all over Youtube, even of the ending scene. It really is a scene for scene, almost line for line, remake. I do wonder what is the point.

Still gonna watch it, though, just for the lulz alone.

Have they filmed all 5 seasons? That youtube video seemed to show the entire series! They must be confident if they've remade all of it.

Every single episode, shot for shot. It's airing like a soap, as all dramas do here, an episode every weeknight for a few months with no breaks.

Does that mean there will be a Fried Chicken Restaurant in it called "The Chicken Brothers"?

No, it's the same. All the foreign stuff is set in Mexico so it's still all Spanish.

Just finished watching it very very good all the way through but season 5 I think they went too far (maybe they just left it after season 4 but i suppose pressure from the studio got it made) but the last 2 episode's of season 5 were very good.

The only bit I thought was gooseberry fool about 5 was the magnet truck, just seemed too A-Team really.

About mid way through 4 now, his just bumped off the cartel at the pool and skylar gave Ted the money only for him to buy a mercedes.

Just got to dat toilet scene in my rewatch, still can't believe we had to wait an entire year to see that resolved, absolutely god tier cliff hanger.

Also, this happened at comic con:

The whole of season 5 is god tier. Just thinking about that cliffhanger, and the final 3 episodes (pretty much any moment from start to finish) gives me chills.

Where's Tommy Lee Jones with that mind-erasing thing so I can watch it fresh all over again? :(

Season 5 is awesome because it has a totally different feel to everything before it. Walt's made it and where can he go but down? Just really dark, knowing that everything is going to crumble.

That comic con clip  What a boss. Bit cruel on the guy asking the question, though.

Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad movie continues to be shrouded in secrecy, but I hear it will air on Netflix and AMC, which also carries Gilligan’s Emmy-winning series.

I hear the script is being shot as a feature though it has not been determined yet how it will air, as a film or cut into episodes.

No one would comment, but word is that the two networks might have their roles reversed, with Netflix taking first window and AMC second.

A little is known about the Breaking Bad movie, believed to be a sequel starring the series’ Aaron Paul.
