Fantastic again So are we led to believe Jesse has been cooking the whole time between Hank's death and the return of Heisenberg?

Edit: Great theory I read on Uproxx

I don’t think the ricin will be for Gretchen and Elliot, I think it will ultimately be for himself. The only way Walt is going to save his family is to turn himself in. In the end, I suspect he’ll take out all the Nazi’s, Jesse will either help him or Walt will let Jesse live after finding out what they did in tonights episode and it will provide a little redemption for Walt and Jesse can take care of Brock. Finally, Walt will turn himself in and take the ricin after he confesses.

Finally, the show ends a few months after Walt’s passing, Skyler will have written a best selling book about her ordeal as the wife of a drug lord (remember, Skyler wanted to be a writer back in Season 1), therein Walt will have, in a way, provided for his family after his death, which is what he wanted all along. And it won’t be with the blood money.

Particularly the second par. Sounds like a great way to end it, so I'd suggest not reading it

When Walt White seem to give up, I somehow knew it'll be them who would reawake him.

Plus I hate Meth Damon.

That music on the end scene was just incredible. Can't believe there's only one more episode to go. :(

I had a dream about the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad last night (which I haven't seen yet).

It focused heavily on Marie and Walter Jr. We found out that Marie used to be a dangerous criminal and murdered someone years ago. And the episode had scored 8.12 on IMDb. That's all I remember.

Or better still Walt redeems himself slightly and lets Jessie kill him before getting away

Jessie really deserves a happy ending from all this

No, no he doesn't.

Jessie is, was and forever will be a selfish scumbag. Throughout the entire series Walt has had to go further and further to protect Jessie after yet another screw up because Jessie's an idiot.

Latest episode spoiler:
Yet another Jessie screw up leads to loss of life. Jessie knows that the 'bad guys' know about Andrea and Brock. So it's a safe bet that they know where they are. Jessie knows they're evil and they'll kill anyone they have to/want to. He witnessed them murder two DEA agents. So what does he do? Form a half assed plan of "escape and run through open spaces in their compound". If he wasn't such a selfish prick he'd have realised that whatever he did, Andrea and Brock would be in grave danger. If he escaped, what would Jack & Co do? Oh yeah, kill Andrea/Brock. If he got caught, what would Jack & Co do? Oh yeah, kill Andrea/Brock.

Jessie is still acting like the same selfish idiot he has always been, and right up to the final part of the episode, Walt is still trying to get his money back for his family. If Walt deserves to die for all the bad things he's done. So does Jessie.

So... No. He doesn't deserve a happy ending in all of this.

Well after all the gooseberry fool he's been through I think he does. Every bad thing that's happened to him has been because of Walt and the gooseberry fool Walt has made him do. Walt only came close to losing as much as Jessie has when Hank was killed last week

Maybe my perspective is different because I've watched the whole in the last two months rather than across five years

Only a monster would deny Jessie a happy ending after everything he has been through. He's got a good heart.

Why did Todd tell Lydia the cook was 92% then tell Jesse it was 96%? Or was that a completely new batch?

I think the big question is whether I can wait a week to watch the penultimate episode along with the final as a
double bill.

A new batch I imagine. During the episode we saw Walt across the months between the fallout of Hank's death and when he comes back, the timeline of the other stuff wasn't so clear

So Does Walter.

If you think about it, Jessie is to blame for Hank, Gomey and his ex gf's death.

Albeit very indirectly.

Jane sure, that's fine but Hank and Gomie? It's Walt's actions that pushed Jessie over the edge. Every bad thing that's happened to a key character in this show (except the cancer and Jane's death, which Walt could have prevented) has ultimately been Walt's fault. That's the whole point.

Wow.

I agree with Wuji that, had Jesse not been such a bitch, things would have been different, especially in this episode. Jesse is looking at the picture of Andrea while he gets the idea to escape and doesn't realise that he will be putting Andrea and Brock in danger by escaping or attempting to escape. Also, what's with all the 'poor Jesse'? It should be 'poor Andrea', as she is the one who was killed, and 'poor Brock' as he is the one without any parents.

With regards to the next episode, Skippy's post does seem plausible but it's a little too neat and beneficial for Skyler and the children so I don't think it will happen like that.

I still think that Heisenberg will take the Ricin so that he dies soon after his last stand, for example in case he is taken into custody. I think that Heisenberg will use the guns against the Nazis, but I'm not sure as the opening to season 5B saw Heisenberg telling the gun guy that he wouldn't be taking the guns out of town. Given that Heisenberg takes the guns to the old family home, I don't think that he will take them to the Nazi base (which I believe lies outside town).

This leaves two possibilities: Heisenberg has lured the Nazis to his old house for a final showdown (a la Scarface) or Heisenberg is going to take as many officers with him as possible as he allows himself to be seen by his neighbour, who will then call the police. In the former case I think that Heisenberg will take care of the Nazis with another home made bomb while the latter case leaves no question that Walter White is dead and only the evil Heisenberg remains.

Because I've watched the show :? It's all about Walt's decent and the damage he does to the people around him along the way

I don't think you have anything to gain by watching them back-to-back. Watching it now would be better as you can take the week to weigh up the state of play going into the final. Also means you won't be spoilt.

Yeah, as good as this week's episode is it was more like build-up than a Series Finale Part 1 deal

OK, I'll watch it tonight and next week directly before the final episode.
