One thing i noticed, in the very first ep of season 8,

the gun walt has in his trunk is an M60, the very weapon one of the aryans used in last weeks episode when shooting up hank and gomie. Its too unique a weapon for it not to be the same one. So he must get the better of the aryans somehow to come out of it with that gun

Maybe just a coincidence, but knowing this show, i think not

Probably just a lack of props.

Did he not buy it from the 'gun guy' though?

I'm concerned that there seems a lot of story to wrap up in only 1 episode. This suggests to me it will be either rushed, stories left incomplete or Dr Who ridiculous ending coming up. Hope I'm wrong though.

Breaking Bad breaks the 4th wall a little bit.

The news story referenced on the talk show in the bar has actually been posted to the New York times site.

Pretty damn cool, especially when the comments stay in character as well.

Plus, how good was 'the fixer'? He looked like Leonard Nimoy!

Can you imagine what that moment is going to be like when Walt sees Jesse again *shivers*

Obilatory Breaking bad comic

So good

Leonard Nimroy? Really?

You might know him as the tough drill instructor from Full Metal Jacket. And he was er... A ghost drill instructor in The frighters.

Nimroy? My good god man. If he read that, he'll skull strawberry float you. (Film reference.)

It wasn't R. Lee Ermey. It was Robert Forster (of Jackie Brown, amongst other things).

Well he's much more a lookalike of him rather than Leonard Nimroy.  :dread: :fp:

Ha I mentioned this earlier with exactly the same thought

Obviously we are both looking into that too much as I totally forgot he bought it at the start of the season.

It was bought during a flash forward though, remember?

Brilliant podcast this week. Cranston is on it

The playing cards scene was improvised by Forester. It was supposed to end as soon as he asks Walt if he wants to cut the cards.

Oh god. Just got to the end of Ozymandias. Feel like I've been kicked in the stomach. That was some of the best TV I've ever seen.

Ok, ep 15 didn't have quite the kick of 14 (apart from Maria, Jesus...) but holy hell what a setup.

Also, you guys who don't believe Jesse deserves a good ending...deary me.

I like the story about them having to re-shoot scenes because when transporting the film, it fell off a truck and got run over by a plane!
