from S1

I could post tons of amazing season 3 moments but lots of people here are still catching up or only just started watching and so I don't want to post spoilers.

Good luck was a large part of that though - and Hank is a pretty tough mummy strawberry floater.

The scene with them and Hank has to be one of the most mental bits of TV ever made.

Huge spoilers ahead - you will actually kick yourself if you haven't seen S3 and read this.

Don't forget Hank was warned by that awesome black dude, he would have been another 'victim of the week' otherwise. And it made perfect sense in the story for the dude to warn him. And Hank didn't exactly walk away unscathed. And you have to admit that for a moment there most people watching the show probably thought Hank was a gonner. (when the brother ripped off his bullet proof vest and shot hank twice in the gut). Tense as balls.

As well as that there is the fact that
The hitmen that survived ended up with injuries that'd see him stuck in a wheelchair, the same situation as Hank. It's only because Gus intervened (again) that the hitman was finally killed.

Why does this only have a three star rating in the USTV thread? :o

I thought, I'd put it at a 5 but I'll upgrade it when I replace some links in a minute.

Re-watching S3. I forgot how nice Anna Gunn's guns are.

I got through my re-watch worryingly quickly. Must have taken about 5 days. Now a whole month for the new series - and I'm gonna have to go back to 1 a week.

Also, do you think Jesse killed Gale? The gun was directly aimed at him in the shot behind Jesse, then in the next shot you see him move it to the right about 8 inches before pulling the trigger.

I rewatched that scene quite a few times trying to figure out whether that was just fancy camera work or Jesse moving his hand away. But I guess why would he pull the trigger if he wasn't going to shoot him? IIRC the general consensus in the Season 3 thread was that Gale did get shot in the face and I have to agree. Pity, because he was an awesome character.

I can only remember bits about last season and don't have enough time to watch it again. Has anyone seen a highlights/reminders video around? If not, I'm sure there'll be one on the beginning of the new season.

Vince Gilligan came out and said that Jesse did shoot Gale, and he was disappointed they managed to make it look ambiguous.

I don't think there is an official one yet, but this one is pretty good:

I just assumed that the camera moved to put you in the position of Gale - so you could see exactly what he saw just before getting shot. Didn't really consider it ambiguous.

Just finished watching Season 2. Very much enjoying it but it was a bit of an anticlimax to be building up with all the short bits at the starts of episodes, with the bodybags at his house, the cuddly toy and all that, and then it ends up being something that's got nothing to do with what you thought it might. From a plot thread that was only brought in for the last couple of episodes. Still, the fact that the police are looking round his house will probably bring something up in Season 3, I'd imagine.

Still, it's a brilliant show, and you've all been saying in this thread that the 3rd season is the best so far. So, yeah.
