That was amazing. Totally didn't expect Walt and Hank to face off so early. As soon as he said "If you don't know who I am", I knew facade was over. :o

Finished season 4 with my girlfriend tonight, forgot how great the finale was. Would have been a good end to the series with the whole "I won" thing. It is quite a jump into the what next of Season 5, isn't it? Walt could have just walked away, Jessie too. Cartel gone, Gus gone, Evidence gone...

I'm excited to watch Season 5 part 1 again, the train heist was brilliant and I sort of forgot about Lydia and her involvement with everything.

What ever happened to Ted?

He did.

When he's sitting in the garden while everyone has gone to Hank's after Walt called in a fake report to the DEA, he is spinning the gun. Twice, the gun points at him, third time at a potted plant that the camera focuses on.

On the roof of the hospital after Walt has blown up Gus, Jesse reveals Brock is going to pull through and it was poison from berries on a plant, Lilly of the Valley.

The final shot is back on that potted plant in Walt's garden, the camera zooms into it so you can read the name, "Lilly of the Valley".

As for Ted, have you never fallen over and hit your head? He did so while running, into the corner of a cabinet or something. Gotta hurt.

Jesse that the doctor said it's an common flower poisoning that most young kids seem to suffer from by eating the flower's berries or something? Then you see Walt tossing the pot of flowers into the boot of his car with the name of the flower said by the doctor.

Yes he poisoned the kid, tricked Jesse into thinking its Ricin.

And Ted did crash onto his head first so it's possible.

Seeing as Ironhide has just started season 5, there might be a very minor spoiler in your post there Wedgie (disposing of the plant), I can't remember if that is in the first episode of S5, I'll be starting that again tonight.

I'd like to know when Walt had the chance to poison Brock seeing as he'd only briefly saw him once it just seems too convenient.

He enlisted Saul to do the poisoning and Huell to get the ricin from Jesse.

He enlisted Saul to do the poisoning and Huell to get the ricin from Jesse.

When Saul's secretary is shredding papers, the papers are actually school time tables specific to one particular student. It's never fully explained but that's how the show writers have said it was done. There are quotes if you look for them.

Huell swaps cigarette packs with Jesse when patting him down after Saul leaves him 6 voice mails, no idea how he manages to get a pack with the right amount of cigs in there.

If we're going to pick apart the show. How does everyone get in and out of the old people's home without being caught on CCTV? Place gets blown up and the DEA don't watch the CCTV footage and see Walt, Jesse and Gus all visit?

That's actually a very good point and I can't see a reason for that except that it was overlooked.

A known cartel member and revealed drug kingpin are blown up and they overlook the CCTV footage? Unlikely, unless the security room was next to the room that was blown up and all footage was destroyed, but it wasn't, also eye witness accounts / sign in sheets of visitors to Hector?

I pick a lot of games apart but I really enjoyed Breaking Bad so didn't dwell on it, I didn't really get a chance because I moved onto season 5 and the show quite quickly moved away from that incident.

But yeah, if you pick apart anything in the show, it should be that massive plot hole.

Also, America isn't like Britain where we have CCTV everywhere.

I'd jump in on the discussion (they wouldn't just leave the front doors open and let people walk in without getting them to sign in, eyewitness accounts of visitors) but it'd lead nowhere, it's a plot hole and didn't ruin the show for me.

I think I'm more excited for the next episode than I was the latest. The new episode felt more like the end half of an episode. Now things really feel like they kick off or a new season has started. But strawberry float me, a year on that cliff hanger was tough.

EDIT: Just rewatching S05E01, the scene with Ted is really hard to watch, he's so beaten and looks worse than Walt ever did while in hospital.

AWWW YEAHHH BITCH, MAGNETS!

EDIT2: "You never told me that kidwould end up in the hospital" - Saul. From this, I assume Saul is the one who applied the poison to the kid.

I've been thinking that and will be really disappointed if he suddenly comes out from nowhere to strawberry float things up, it'd feel like a cheap move. The last scene with him was tough to watch, he was destroyed.
