I've been thinking that and will be really disappointed if he suddenly comes out from nowhere to strawberry float things up, it'd feel like a cheap move. The last scene with him was tough to watch, he was destroyed.

Hopefully that was just his farewell scene. Else he has to die.

The only link I can see Hank finding is that Skyler worked for him previously, and he was under investigation for fiddling the books. I think we will see Ted again, but he's too terrified to say anything to Hank. That is, when Hank finds out that Skyler is involved in it as well, in terms of money laundering. He will find out.

Just had a thought...

What if we're being thrown a huge red herring and walt doesn't get caught at all, but manages to frame hank as Heisenberg? We Havnt see hank in the flash forwards yet, plus the white family home could have been trashed by Walt himself.

Can't see that happening, Hank knows the law too well. But I think all the clues point towards Walt faking his death from cancer... hence the shocked neighbour, the disguise, fake ID. Possibly even the treatment now...

If that was the case, wouldn't Heisenberg have been sprayed in Hank's house? I'm surprised any cartel or whatever could correctly spell Heisenberg.

Slartibartfast has a much better theory, faking his own death. He could have done that and then used the cleaner's services, which he clearly has if you remember him handing his ID over in Denny's.

Interesting, nice spot Starburst!

I would imagine that he is just on the run. It is much simpler (especially considering how much time we have left) and would still explain the neighbours shock when her drug kingpin ex neighbour shows up.

Yeah, I suppose I mean both. He goes on the run, then fakes his death from cancer somehow and then is returning to screw gooseberry fool up due to egomaniac tendencies. Other theory - these flash forwards are caught up with halfway through this run of episodes...

MASSIVE LOST SPOILER BELOW. :shifty:

Or they are all dead and this is the island forcing them to confront their true natures.

Haha is that how Lost ended? Man if they pull some crap like that... imagine the last 5 minutes they return to Walt holding his camera doing the confession thing from the first episode and then the cops pull up and arrest him and he does meth in prison and the whole 5 seasons of the show are his meth-infused hallucinations and the show ends with "METH: NOT EVEN ONCE" produced by VInce Ghallagin *smashes laptop against the wall*

Or he's in a cancer induced coma and all it is in his head, with his friends surrounding his death bed. And Hector is his father.

If that were so, then Cairo got nothing on the kind of civil unrest that would bring about.

I'm interested in people's thoughts on the following issue, which I can't quite get to click satisfyingly in my head at the moment (FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN EVERYTHING UP-TO-DATE, INCLUDING SEASON 5 EP 9):
Did Walt know about the dedication written in the book?

I had previously thought he may well not have realised it was there and was therefore casually storing it in a very visible/ prominent place through ignorance, rather than recklessness (wouldn't he also have generally been more careful with a personalised gift - in this case from a cultured man he apparently has felt guilty about having had killed - than slinging it in the bog?).

However, the speed at which he seemingly arrived at the 'Hank probably knows' conclusion made me think that he was aware of the dedication.

If so, why was he storing it in the bathroom apparently habitually used by family members, including the family DEA agent?

Is it possible he had forgotten about the dedication, then remembered when the book went missing/ Hank was acting strange?

Is it possible he did NOT know about the dedication: But the book going missing/ knowing Hank was aware of GB's Walt Whitman appreciation / Hank acting weird - was enough to make him feel a light had probably gone on in Hank's head?

Thanks for any input!

I love the ridiculous theory that Malcolm in the Middle timeline starts after Breaking Bad ends. I'm on my phone so can't get the link but it's almost plausible.

I've read that one

Needs to be made as a spoof with the real actors once the show gas finished.

The only link I can think of, minus the fact they obviously look the same, is that they have the same type of underwear - which is a weird thing to say, Bryan Cranston strips down a lot.

Does Malcom in the Middle take place in New Hampshire? It's quite clear that he has a new identify in the flash forwards.

Just watched the whole lot over the last three weeks. It's sucks that I've now got to wait for one every week.

Amazing show. Best TV in years.

Cranston kind of explains that in a recent appearence on... one of the late night guys, Conan or Jimmy Something. Hal wears tighty whiteys because he's still a child, Walt goes in public (the desert) wearing them because at that point he doesn't care anymore - cancer + he's cooked a batch of illegal drugs. The interview is from a week or two ago.
