I was close to tears when he was stroking his daughters hair, knowing its the last time he'd ever see her again.

That was a superb finale for such a great show, enjoyed every minute of it.

Glad to see that Jesse survived, not exactly a happy ending but at least he got away relatively unscathed

I doubt there is a totally happy ending for Jessie but he's finally free from Walt and the nazis. His DNA and prints must be everywhere.

I disagree with all the facts that the ending was "too predictible". Honestly I think some of these events felt simply inevitable due to the quality of the writing.

However I didn't see the part the Schwartz's would play and great to see Skinny Pete and Badger one last time. Also the fact that it was that encounter that led to Walt knowing that Jesse was still alive.

Did the final shot remind anyone else of the ending to Crawl Space?

My missus never watches this show but I told her it's the Finale so she decided to watch it and started howling when he was stroking his daughters hair. Now she is starting from Season 1

Absolutely gutted that it is finally over but it was an amazing ride.

So long Heisenberg .

Good, if a little predictable finale, thought the payoff of Todd and Lydia getting killed could have been a bit more satisfying but I suppose as it was fit with the tone of the show.

I'll probably rewatch it all again because despite watching it from the very beginning whenever that was I only ever really loved it during S2, and I want to see if doing it all back to back (like these Johnny-It's the best tv show ever-Come Latelys) gives it that extra punch.

Brilliant.

Not the best episode, but in the top 10. I twigged ricin on the shot her stirring in the tea, still wasn't 100% where he'd placed the machine gun of doom, so was awesome when it popped out the boot. Satisfying end to the best television series... erm, well, best drama thing I've ever seen.

It was, in truth, a slightly redemptive episode for Walt. He admitted things to Skylar and to himself and made good the best he could (in Heisenberg brilliance way). Not sure that's what should have happened to the character, but I suppose the last few episodes had been so chastening for him, he had already hit rock bottom with Hank's death.

Incredible ending to an incredible show. I think it's only "predictable" after the fact, I wouldn't have predicted the way Walt played the Aryans, or even that he had that gun in his car, I don't think the manner or Walt's death or even Jesse getting away were totally clear beforehand.

On a high level it might be predictable, Walt, Nazis and Lidya dying, Jesse getting away - but the granularity of how that came about was fascinating. The whole Eliot and Gretchen thing was awesome.

Grey Matter couple were spineless. Wished Walt had hired real hitmen, but it was great seeing Badger and Skinny Pete again.

The moment Lydia started looking for the Stevia is when I thought Walt had probably tampered with it. Didn't notice him sitting there until the camera panned out again.

Dem feels when Walt strokes Holly's hair and then watching Jr. from afar.

I'm glad Walt didn't go in like Rambo with that gun. Fitting for him to use his head and then save Jesse like that. Todd and Jack got what was coming to them.

Walt dying in the lab. Did make me think of Lost though. :fp:

Great show. Going to watch the final few episodes again tonight and probably watch the whole show again in a couple of months.

Think this might go down as my favourite TV show ever. This last season was utter perfection.

What a magnificent ending to what I believe is the greatest television show (my favourite, at least) of our times. Perfection.

Not my favourite episode but I'm glad that gave it a proper ending. It's been a hell of a ride that I found out about through complete chance due to a thread on here. Brilliant writing throughout with so many amazing characters.

My whole day has consisted of avoiding spoilers and passing time until I could watch this. Now that I've watched it I don't really know what to do with myself. Might just go to bed.
