Link lost his hair tie and gained a corrupt right arm.

Time reversal Stasis-like rune looks like it could be fun.

To be fair, now that it's 2022 confirmed (earliest) and probably Q4 at that, I think this is the longest gap between mainline Zelda games ever despite the fact it's in the same engine and world. COVID must have hit hard.

Upon first seeing the trailer I was a little underwhelmed. With a second watch I felt a bit more positive, now I’m back to being a bit Luke warm on it. For 2 years on from the last trailer (which I absolutely adore) this barely shows anything. Either they’re really holding stuff back or the game is still a long way from being done.

The Ganondorf stuff is intriguing but really no more so than from the first trailer. You see a reverse time power, some hints at a magic arm and ruins floating in the sky. For a hype return trailer it’s really really sparse.

I have faith in the game but this wasn’t a great reveal.

Not sure I'm keen on islands in the sky.

If you can fall off it I will, allot, and get very pissed off for keep doing it.

I'm the complete opposite. I was really excited with the opening shots and then as soon as it became obvious that it was the same Hyrule with the same enemies (although the camp on the Talus was very cute) I was really deflated. :(

At this point it looks more like an expansion then a new Zelda years in the making.

I wonder if skyloft is falling to earth, and you have a finite amount of time to save it before it smacks in to the ground, causing a paradox of sorts. Maybe you then reset when it does like in majoras mask.

It would be brilliant if they linked it to Skyward Sword actually.

It's an easy way to add new content and areas to the game, but still use the original map.

I hope they are decent additions rather than sparse, linear areas.

I also wonder if they might be a pseudo replacement for Shrines. You go up there and do some light dungeoning and then go back down for the open world stuff.

Either those chunks of floating land are the ruined remnants of skyloft, or it's pieces of hyrule rising up out of the ground and heading up to make a new skyloft.

I can definitely see them being shrine replacements, would be a cool way to get little focused dungeon areas.

Was waiting for the gameexplain video! Some good things I hadn't clocked there, like the fire arm weapon actually being a shield and that the different Link appearances were split between sky and land.

Going to be another painful year of waiting for details!

Great to see this featured in the Direct yesterday. I've been thinking about how Majora's Mask took the foundations laid by Ocarina of Time, reworked them in an unusual way, and ended up being one of the more distinct and memorable titles in the series. It will be interesting to see if a similar approach is taken here.
