I'll be more interested in this if they fixed the issues I had with the first game, but as it stands BotW is the only Zelda game I'm yet to complete so I can't really feel too hyped for this.

Unfortunately my issues seem to be what everyone loves about it, so I think I'm out of luck on this one.

So, the castle is being pulled upwards. Guess they're doing Zelda on Mars.

It would be cool if they used that alien invasion idea they had for the first BotW and incorporated into this

Anouma has come out in and interview and said the younger guys in the team working on this and taking inspiration from RDR2.

Usually you'd have to peel me off the ceiling after a new Zelda showing but, whilst I was very happy to see it, it didnt quite have the impact I would have liked. Perhaps because its so much BotW2, so very little felt new and thus not so exciting. Or perhaps its my own mixed feelings on BotW having an impact. Maybe its the choice to go with a story beat before giving us something of a gameplay hook or concept. It's a bit unZelda actually.

I think it was slightly disappointing because we did not get a name for the game, so it seemed like a rushed video. Still the winner of the show.

I feel pretty similar actually, for what I think are completely different reasons to yours: it’s obviously so far away that there doesn’t seem to be any point in getting excited quite yet. We don’t have any gameplay, or even a title. I also don’t know how they’ll go about recreating the magic of the Best Game Ever: a straightforward copy doesn’t seem like the way about it.

Aonuma has confirmed it takes place in the same Hyrule.

It’s artwork from Creating A Champion of pre-Calamity Castle Town

I so be getting this. Once I get into the exploration thing it was awesome.
Ending was a bit naff so hopefully this will end better but we will see I guess.
Either way, eeeek

Hopefully this is set a few years after the first so we see a more built up, populated Hyrule.

It would be nice to see the fruits of your labour a bit with signs of recovery maybe a nod to you saving their arses and that

Am I the only one slightly disappointed by this if true? I wanted to be taken into a weird dark mirror world, à la MM. Also, Hyrule was gorgeous and impressive first time around: I'm not sure it'll have the same impact a second time, unless it's much more populated.
