What a total and complete banana split arse bitch.

Thing is she won’t not do brexit because will of the people and newspapers so her deal is the best option at this point. Also as there isn’t a solution to the Irish border we will have the back stop forever so gooseberry fool happens.

I've thought that for a long time.

Perhaps without blowing anything up though.

May only going to ask for a short extension then. :fp:

Just the idiocy of doing something you know will fail astounds me.

She is so obsessed with getting her deal through that she probably thinks this is a great plan. "I will ask for a short extension, get refused, blame the EU and then Parliament will be so scared that they will force the Speaker to let me have my deal! Oh I truly am the greatest of all Iron Ladies!"

Logically any deal would go past the summer holidays, to avoid border chaos, it would then allow countries to get things in order over the quieter winter months, not potentially bring a no deal scenario right at the start of the summer holiday season :fp:

Seemingly confirmed she'll ask for a short extension only.

It'll be interesting to see how the EU respond as they've said we'd need to request a longer extension.

"The people are fed up with Parliaments failure to make a decision"

Theresa May there deflecting the blame away from her shitty deal and adding to the pressure on Parliament to just do what she wants.

It was always the plan to blame Parliament for any delay.

Balls in the EU's court. I'm assuming the worst at this point.

I obviously don’t really wish this (as it would be terrible for us all) but part of me is hoping the EU tell us to bugger off. We just don’t deserve nice things.

SO she's asked for 3 months

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... CMP=twt_gu

Junker says no decision on their end this week, meaning it's all going to come down to 2 or 3 days.

No deal seems inevitable at this point.

They could still agree an extension. I know there will be plenty of anger at the British government on their handling of all this, but strictly speaking it's still in the EU interest to secure a deal.

Yeah, I think we're done. MPs will splutter that they voted against no deal but will realise their failure to take control of the situation is way more important.

It’s a dangerous game though, it only takes one EU member state to say no.

Assuming it is granted, Labour and the People’s Vote people need to really start pushing for a referendum. Because otherwise we are going to end up with May’s deal as Parliament gets forced into it.
