There absolutely can be in the D'Hont system.

You're clearly making up systems now.

Can someone please explain why this brexit party is winning?

Also, we have an Irexit party here and it's barely polling anything.

Because if you are a Brexiteer, you only have one party to vote for.

If you are a remainer you have about five.

TBH, I think 36% for the Brexit party shows how support for Leave has waned not grown, but it will be spun a different way I'm sure.

Most leavers are voting for the Brexit party, but remainers are splitting their vote over multiple parties. Add them all up and it's much closer, with remain in lead (I think)

Brexit Party also have one policy "Brexit" (what? how? why type? no one knows)

Any other policies will be announced later (after elections....).

Other parties are more mixed messages (Corbyn for instance tried to make it a vote on Lab's social policies...I'm sure he'll forget that with the impending trouncing)

So they're "easy" to vote for for certain types of people.

The Brexit Party should be absolutely hounded day and night to clarify their position on exactly what sort of Brexit they are campaigning for and exactly how they intend to implement it once in (hypothetical, thank strawberry float) power.

Of course, this won't happen because

a) any voices shouting loud enough simply won't be heard or will easily be ignored because...

b) the Brexit Party will avoid clarifying their position at all costs because they know that as soon as they confirm deviation from any type of possible Brexit whatsoever, it will conflict with the exact type of Brexit a portion of their supporters have in mind

They are looking like getting 36% of the vote. With UKIP getting 4%.

That’s 60% against the explicitly Brexit parties.

The Lib Dem’s, Greens, CUKs, SNP and Plaid Cymru will get roughly the same percentage as Brexit/UKIP.

The difficulty is establishing what a vote for Labour (and to a lesser extent the Tories) means. Those votes could be read as a vote for a Brexit deal, although it’s more likely just party loyalty.

Or 0.001111% of the amount Aaron Banks has given to Farage.

You can 'give' Farage 100 milkshakes anonymously and the electoral commission won't investigate who gave them to him. Repeat as often as you like.

You can't have a meal in Five Guys without spending just shy of 20 quid. After all the hype I didn't think it was all that different from McDonald's premium ranges, tbh.

I hope those throwing things at politicians are prepared for the potential repercussions of their actions, whether that be via social media or ending up in jail, which is what happened to some bloke who cracked an egg over Corbyn's head recently (this is also where Prescott pops up on radio and TV to wheel out his 'Tony Blair told me to connect with the electorate so I did' anecdote that I'm sure the whole country has now heard at least 5 times).

There’s far better options at that price range.
