Thing is, hes on all the papers so I'd imagine if you know little about politics, you'd back him.

The reality is hes a back bencher extremeist. It would be far more unlikely than say Corbyn taking over Labour.

Sajid Javid is the only reasonable choice out of that lot, he's also the only notable Remainer I can see.

One look at Andrea Leadsom makes me want to headbutt her in the mouth.

I disagree. I feel there is a real danger of Mogg taking over, he's literally once decent Conference speech away from it in my opinion. He actually isn't that "extreme" for the Tories, he just seems to have a way of explaining his repugnant views that somehow make them seem more acceptable.

I’d be amazed if the Tories went for an Asian leader.

Sajid Javid, Phillip Hammond or Ruth Davidson would be my choices. Hammond has no chance though, obviously.

Or they could go with someone we know very little to nothing about.

In a battle of the old guard, then Gove would be the best outcome. Mogg, Leadsom, Boris, Hunt, Davis, and Patel would all be hopeless. At least Gove is proving himself (along with Javid) to be competent in the department they're currently in, though he's clearly in his element, and how often does that happen. By the time a minister has got his head around one department, possibly one they couldn't really give a toss about, they're off again.

Davidson isn’t an MP.

Make her a peer. Then she can be PM.

Davidson isn’t an MP.

That could easily be rectified so she's in contention. She's currently a Top 10 bookies favourite. Maybe even higher.

Well they either have to make her a Peer or hope that there is a by-election that she wins before any hypothetical Tory leadership contest.

It’s rather unlikely.

Does she think Tommy “convicted criminal” Robinson is going to become PM?

Trump is a banana split, and Macron an elitist arsehole, but Robinson is a strawberry floating scumbag street-Nazi. What the strawberry float is she even suggesting there?

Well, that's the chequers agreement well and truly dead. It lasted longer than I thought it would admittedly.

Question is, do they let May limp on or do they start a leadership challenge? I guess the former because no one wants to own this strawberry floating mess.
