Why does it need to be women who do this?
Because us men will be in the Great British labour camps

The article says people, mostly women the headline is very misleading.
I imagine it would be most likely woman and men are less likely to be willing to do it in most cases I would imagine.

I would imagine that is true as well.

Why do Leavers keep saying “we survived before the EU!” as if that wins the argument?
We survived before electricity but I don’t think many people want to go back to that.

Also we were not as dependent back then on EU funding and we had trade deals with the European continent which we won't have after brexit. Dumb strawberry floats.

It's dumb. But we should be used to this disregard for any common sense.

I liked it best when we were in the EEC.
The 70s were great! That's the decade I'd like the UK to sink back to.

Depending on the terms of leaving history may repeat itself. If there is a hard exit and a major economic downturn then I suspect the UK will hurriedly sign up to the EEA like it did with the EEC back in the early 70s. Of course, make then it still took an IMF bailout and at least another decade to get back on its feet. Hopefully it wouldn't be sever it if happened again, seeing as the UK is now economically stronger than it was post war.
