You forgot having enough of 'so-called' "experts" and 'Project FEAR!', as well as the importance of having things written on the side of a bus...

May is still trying to play Poker with a hand of Uno cards it seems...

Does May ever tell the truth?

Update on this: she removed those parts and no-one called her out on it.

EDIT - Oh, she didn't remove it but definitely didn't get called out.

Very good

I'm currently being negged on Rllmuk for pointing out (with quotes/facts) that Labour want to end Freedom of Movement and replace it with something "fair and managed"

Corbynistas and Trumpkins have a surprisingly similar problem with "facts"

Another thing that you're starting to see is from some parts of Lab supporters is that May got such an amazing deal with some many seismic concessions (uh...no) that of course Corbyn will be able to get this amazing great cake deal.

BBC News wrote:So-called Brexit survival kits costing almost £300 are being sold ahead of the UK leaving the EU.

The packs include enough freeze-dried food to last 30 days, a water filter and fire starting gel.

Lynda Mayall, 61, said she bought a box to supplement her stocks of tinned food and toilet roll as she feared there may be "chaos" in the months after Brexit.

A government spokesperson said there was "no need" to stockpile any of the items in the box.

A number of Brexit survival-themed products have appeared for sale and several online discussion groups have been set up.

More than 3,500 people have joined the Facebook group 48% Preppers which says it discusses "the practical preparations people are making for life after Brexit".

Meanwhile a "Prepping for Brexit" page on Mumsnet has more than 250 posts with members saying they plan to stock up on everything from medication, toiletries and nappies to hair dye and tobacco.

Prof Tim Benton, an expert in food systems from the University of Leeds, said he did not foresee the UK running out of food but believed there could be "situations where we cannot reliably get what we expect to see on the shelves on a daily basis".

He said the most likely disruption would be caused by panic buying and urged people not to "overreact".

However, he said it was "almost inevitable" that food supply would be affected in a "painful Brexit"

A government spokesperson said: "People don't need to stockpile food, water filters or fire starters.

"The UK has a strong level of food security built upon a diverse range of sources including strong domestic production and imports from third countries. This will continue to be the case whether we leave the EU with or without a deal."

There's one born every minute. Of all the things the UK is going to possibly be short of, tap water isn't going to be one of them.

I agree tap water will be fine, but it’s not guaranteed to be under no deal.

I know of at least one water board (I won't name it) that's desperately trying to stock-pile pipes in case they can't be imported from France "just in time".

Makes sense. In that case they should have just suspended Parliament for five years after the last general election, because democracy and gooseberry fool.

I really hope the Benn amendment doesn't pass, as it would end up giving May a way to avoid defeat and just go on can kicking.

I don't understand how any amendment is actually possible. The EU have said many many times now that the deal cannot be amended!

Only the parts that don't apply to the UK exclusively can't be amended.

The UK cannot, for example, pass an amendment to give itself a veto over the NI backstop. (Well, technically they can but the EU will tell them to strawberry float off)
They can however pass an amendment that as part of the withdrawl agreement they'll raise VAT by 2% or something (Just a randomly wild example)

How do we think today will go then?

Loses by 120.

Hailed as "successful" by May given how many people moved to support and it wasn't the 200 loss expected

Plan B is paper excerise to re-vote on the same deal.

No no confidence vote this week ("let's hear plan B")
