That you believe Karl, from that statement alone, that all brexit voters are racists and bigots is probably a lot of the reason you're not getting through. I voted brexit, but I'm no racist. I fell for the NHS line and and that the UK was run by a group of unelected bureaucrats. You can point and laugh at me until you're blue in the face, and I'd agree I was a fool to buy into the lies, but don't ever brand me a racist or bigot.
He's obviously not referring to you and he's not said that all Leave voters are racist bigots either.
When I say me, I mean brexit voters in general. We are not all racist and bigots as Karl implies in his comment.
Brexit voters were all racists or idiots though.
It wasn't a smart decision, much like voting for a party that put up a referendum on EU membership in the first place.
At least I got a chance to vote against that the next time though since a General Election always gets a do over.
Voting for Brexit, in any form, was more of a monumental act of stupidity than voting Conservative ever has been (well, except maybe right now, at least up to 2015 they'd shown some level of competence) and you had to be, at best, wilfully ignorant to buy into any of the leave arguments.
Brexit voters continue to play the "Remainers look down on us and tell us we're stupid and we didn't know what we voted for!" card as a way to shut down any criticism of them, and I'm sick of it. It's useless trying to be nice anymore, if they're not going to listen might as well call them out on it.
