I never really understood why he supported Brexit. 'spoon clientele are generally from poor background, OAPs and students all of which will get strawberry floated hard by Brexit, especially a hard Brexit which is Tim Martin pushes.

I always assumed he was fairly intelligent having built up this massive pub/hotel business but maybe it's just the people he surrounded himself with that got him there.

I guess short term gain - be the company that embraces the view a lot of your clientele support and they'll flock to your boozers. Bollocks to whether they'll have any money to do so in 3 years time.

That’s half of the reason.

The other half is that he is a massively xenophobic wanker.

Being good at one thing doesn't make you good at everything. I don't think enough people understand that.

Aren't we not allowed to do trade deals right now so isn't that sort like illegal or in breach of the something?

I could be wrong but I think that only is the case if we try and undercut the EU on trade and all we're doing is making it so that we don't get completely screwed by no deal by replicating the trade deals we already have in place in the event of no deal.

We can't officially do a trade deal but I think we can get a deal in principle so we can quickly sign the paperwork when we are out of the EU. Although it maybe effected by the deal we get with the EU so something might have to change.

The very highest estimates put the number at 350. Most seem to put it at 200.

Well 199 after Farage buggered off.
