The harm these elected idiots are doing to the UK is quite something. Can you imagine what we think of your government over here? Other than laughter, we are exacerbated at the complicit idiocy that's on display. Every single pro Brexit person bar NONE have made a complete tool of themselves on our TV/Radio because we asked simple follow up questions on their spurious sound bits and phrases.

Unless I miss understood I thought she said a UK wide ‘backstop’ was on the table, but she wouldn’t accept it without an end date

I never really understood the end date requirement. The issue will still be there in 2, 3, 5 years time

They see any further divergence between the NI and the rest of the UK on this front as weakening the union and bringing us closer to a united Ireland. They care more about that than the risk of a hard border.

strawberry floating Teresa May and her Tory banana split cabinet. They're all willing to watch us burn for their own benefit.

Yeah but they won’t. ;)

James O’Brien keeps saying that all the Tory Brexiters say it’s easy to sort the N Ireland border, so what’s the problem with not having a date? If it’s as easy as they claim, the backstop will barely be needed.

Is anyone else craving the chaotic world of an Ed Miliband government where there was no EU referendum, we all had happy lives and could only laugh at our prime minister for looking silly whilst eating a bacon sandwich?

I missed this comment by May earlier, when asked by Tory mp Heidi Allen if a second referendum may be required in the event of a no deal she said the following

We are working to get a good deal with the European Union. If it were the case that at the end of the negotiation process actually it was a no deal, that both sides agreed that no deal was there, than actually that would come back to this House, and then we would see what position this House would take in the circumstances of the time.

Obviously this is just wishful hoping on my part as Politicians just spout crap and rarely actually drop meaningful hints.

It does look like if there’s no deal she will just go to the commons and say, ‘well what do you want to do guys’. It will probably also be the point where she resigns.
