Whilst it would be nice to see this as hopeful, it's nothing more than May trying to scare the far right of her party, and parts of the Labour party, into voting for her deal with the logic of "Well at least we'll get some kind of Brexit this way"

Interesting comments from May. She has gone from saying absolutely no chance of a new referendum, to saying no Brexit was a possibility and now no Brexit is more likely than anything else.

It’s almost like she has no idea what she’s doing.

I guess at the moment she’s trying to scare the hard Brexit MPs into supporting her. But it’s an odd tactic, the majority of MPs are Remain leaning and her comments are only going to embolden them.

While May is Remain leaning herself, it’s an odd tactic to increase her chances of being massively defeated.

Or maybe she’s just sick of the whole business and figures a big defeat is her way out.

Why is Guido on this list? Have you copy pasted this from somewhere? If so, that somewhere is trying to normalise extreme right wing views by sneaking in their little hate site and referring to it as part of "the press"

(Though I'm well aware there are other papers on that list that are extreme right wing)

EDIT: The Spectator are on there too but not an equivalent from the other viewpoint e.g. New Statesman. So I'm assuming you've made this list yourself?

Deluded or brainwashed by decades of anti EU and immigration propaganda? I would say both. Some obviously are inherently unable to question what they are told and it doesn't even cross their minds to question it. They take articles in publications like the mail and express as fact even though they are littered with 'unnamed sources states' or 'its believed that'. They can't differentiate an opinion piece from a factoral report either. It's only got worse with people starting to rely on Facebook for news.

A big problem in the US and UK at the moment is that people are just twunts.

Trump supporters and Brexit voters - they just want to hurt/upset those they don't like. Any other argument/evidence just washes off them. It's pissing off liberals/snowflakes/neolibrals/Centerist Dads/etc and therefore it's GREAT.

It’s both, neither and other all at the same time.

Leavers don’t agree with each other so it’s hard to know what they want.

Some want a socialist paradise.

Some want the UK to be a tax haven.

Some want “sovereignty”, while not knowing what it means.

Some want less/no foreigners.

Some want more foreigners from poorer countries to exploit.

Some don’t understand and are just doing what the Sun tells them.

Some think we can still be an Empire and restore the glory days.

Some just want to “own the libs!”.

It’s a mess.
